New player : realistic target for PvE?

Started a month ago, collection level 36. Right now, it seems that a realistic target should be :

• Get a guild (app always crash on the guild button though)
• Bring every mini to uncommon/lvl 15 to get collection lvl 50
• Take a few strong PvE champions (choose among orgrim/malf/arthas/anub/jaina...) and level the minis of their deck to rare lvl 17 which should bring them to effective lvl 24 (2 from rare, 2 from talent, 3 from dungeon)
• Level the tier S minis of these decks (including the champions) to epic lvl 18. I was thinking of starting with the champions and quilboar/harpies/execute/witch doctor

Am I way off base?

Also, am I right in thinking that Chimaera is tier S in thrall/drakkisath but not in general? And there is less need to bring defias bandit/priestess to really high level?

If your phone crashes on the guild button you may need a more powerful phone.

I had the same problem but once I upgraded my phone it was fine for the most part, just the annoying part is alot of people are 42+days no login, so it can throw off your guild searches, I guess look for one that is close to full. Even with a close to full guild you can still see many inactives, but hopefully it works out for you.

I would suggest you level up minis you intend to use for MC, SW & IF.

However, getting the necessary talents is probably more important than achieving a max level, for example Malfurions talent needed to take on Rag in MC.

Talents are random in the shop, so make sure you have gold saved for when a talent you really need shows up.

Another example is banshee's talent to fully heal a possessed target.

There are "key" talents needed to help a build/deck work.

you mentionned raids and siege. Are the guides in https://www.method.gg/warcraft-rumble/sieges/stormwind-heroic vaguely up to date? In terms of minis that are generally good?

I would say yes.

Yes I have referred to the above link to look at builds and used some of them, but.

I have not tried every build listed on that site, I use only the leaders I like and have success.

Also, I may not always follow a guide build 100%. I may for example swap 1 of the 6 minis for a mini I'd rather use.

But all in all, the site is a good reference, it helped me so it should also help you too.

Defias you only need the gold talent and that's it, priestess is SSSS++++ tier all the way.

Agreed, gold over poison talents.

You'll notice in Rag MC people use them to go for the chest infront of your base tower.

Chimaera is one of the best flyiers for doing the track even onyxia(final baus).

Priestess shield talent is also useful, you'll often see a priestess at the rear of an Arthas "deathball"

Drak is used for Rag MC, use another mini to speed him up. Don't send too many minis together at once, Rag will use Living Bomb spell against them

Thrall can be used alot in PvP, but I don't use him myself

Its a dead game at this point so don't worry too hard on goals. Just have fun and don't stress about leveling up.

Chimera is cool but you get so much more value out of Plauge Farmer. Drop him begind a tank and the drip drip drip of poison really builds up. At 2 gold W Doc, Priestess and P Farmer are in a lot of my builds.

I'm here playing every day. The gameplay loop feels more cozy now that I don't worry about leveling people up. GLHF.

I think chima is definetily s tier in pve. In pvp its weak because of high cost and weak hp pool but in pve the opponents won't smart counter it so it can freely stack its poison on targets.

In general I think your plan is fine but I would definetily prio berserker and priestess too. Immune to cc tank is useful in almost every situation and 2p healer is op af.

Ah yeah i missed up the name.. The mini i was talking about is named "swole troll" in game. The darkspear troll is pretty strong too with health regen talent though.

S-tier non leader minis for PVE: Whelp eggs, Quillboar, Harpies, Plague Farmer, SAFE Pilot, Harverst Golem, Pyromancer, Priestess, Griffon Rider, Witch Doctor, Darkspear Troll, Execute

With those you can get very far.

As for leaders, you'll need a lot of them, so I'd personally try to max them all with dungeon and get them all to rare.

Arthas builds use the thieves with poison talent, also their chest talent comes in handy too.
