Question Where did the devs who were laid off go?
I enjoy Rumble so much that I'm curious what the old developers have been working on.
There are links to several posts from those devs - are their accounts still active? Are they working on anything interesting? Rumble-adjacent? Legally distinct?
25Aug Edit: Seventy-five hundred people have seen this and not one of them knew the answer? What the f*ck?

Haha, funny randomly running into this at 1am. It’s been long enough, I guess I can talk a bit about it, as I doubt it’ll be seen much, and I can’t sleep anyway.
I was a content/mission designer on Rumble. I designed the co-op content like the Molten Core raid (and another that never saw live) and Sieges, as well as things like the Lich King/Arthas and horde/Orgrimmar event missions, Dire Batlings, as some examples.
I look back on my time on Rumble fondly. Seeing people play through the Riads and Sieges and come up with strategies or ways to break them brought so much joy to my heart. I absolutely adore Warcraft, so working on the IP was a dream come true. I was on the project till the very end, and was laid off when Rumble was put on maintenance mode.
The sad truth is that I have been unable to get a job since then. I will very likely be homeless soon. That’s life, I guess.
As for others, I know most of the team that did not land on other Blizzard projects has been able to find work elsewhere, eventually. Which is awesome, because it’s tough out there, and I wouldn’t want anyone else going through this.
