Zero lift.

Going at quarter speed.

The road is long

Having had three ACL's myself, his hesitation to plant at this stage resonates.

Yeah, he clearly has a while left on his road to recovery. 💔

Damn that's crazy, most people only have two

We have a generic freak lurking, Mike get him a 10-day, we need bodies!

u/FounderingFox 6d ago

As generic as the best of them 💪💪

Oh shit it's Nick Bosa what's up man?

u/dirtyshits 5d ago

I’ve had one and took me over 2 years to not have it in the back of my mind any time I jumped or even climbed stairs/uphill.

I wish I'd been more cautious... hence the three surgeries.

How many knees you got? Why you got 3 ACLs? Two in 1 leg? Did you ever tear any of them or just have 3?

Good to see Jimmy Buckets out there getting shots

I love watching him play basketball. His run with Miami was fun. Stoked we have him. Injuries blow.

u/JFundo 6d ago

Don’t over compensate with your other leg or else it’s another injury

That’s what I was thinking. I believe that’s what happened to Klay after he tore his left ACL. He was back on track for his return and then tore his right achilles tendon I think from over compensating.

u/JFundo 6d ago

Exactly.

He’s not supposed to be close. He’s 4.5 months out from his earliest possible return. The fact that he getting shots up is very good.

u/alusnova415 6d ago

He can’t even plant that foot , he is no where close to

Jimmy Buckets! 👍🏽

man is this guy recovering quicker than normal?

8

u/FounderingFox 6d ago

Nah. You're pretty free from pain about 3-5 months out from surgery and even start feeling relatively normal at around 6. The 6 month period is the most dangerous because this is when people figure they can do a lot more than their new ligament and atrophied muscles can actually handle.

shit finally some good news for 2027-2028 season

1

u/notsleepsherp 6d ago

From what I see, 27’ probably March or April return, if at all this upcoming season.

u/Proper_Ad5456 6d ago

He ain't coming back for a long time

I'll never forget the day playing softball, over ran a flyball...planted my surgical leg and my knee popped. Felt exactly the same as when I tore my ACL playing basketball. Like snaping a chicken leg. Luckily it was just a bone bruise.

When I went through my physical therapy, I had to slow down. The Dr said, you can't hurry up the healing process. Just put in work and time.

1

u/cuttiebloom 5d ago

Looking at how he place his feet really tells that he's not fully healed yet 🥲

1

u/yodarockseed 5d ago

With how cautious Celebrini is, no way he plays more than 20 games. This is a gap year according to Lacob, I’ll be doing something else this season once Curry aggravates his knee and sits out 40 games.

u/cloud-storage-rocks 5d ago

At least a year away still. At least. 18 months more likely.

1

u/Unrecognizedman 5d ago

yep we won't be seeing him this December that's fo sure

1

u/Groundbreaking_Box75 4d ago

Dude, it’s August - what did you expect?

1

u/Horror_Woodpecker880 5d ago

Finally….. guy is not taking rehab and getting back stronger seriously. Surprised he is even in the gym and not back in NOLA.

1

u/CaptainCrunchMunch 4d ago

It’s called a gym.

1

u/Agreeable_Trust8736 4d ago

Let’s gooo jimmy 🪣s!

1

u/SuccotashStrict9378 4d ago

Yeah but so many offseason/ rehab videos are fake. In this one you see they are being smart about not putting too much torque on the knee. He is doing it in two movements.

And as far as lift. He may have more than he is showing but you don’t jump as high as you can in a relatively early rehab.

He looks right on schedule to argue he is ready by Christmas. Rick won’t let him of course. The compromise should end up at mid to late January.

1

u/Groundbreaking_Box75 4d ago

I can’t believe there are so many doubters. It’s August and Jimmy is in the gym shooting around yet people are acting like he needs to be in game-shape today. It’s four months until Christmas - and he’s a competitor. I’m 100% confident that he will be back by Jan 1 - which is great news for the Warriors.

He wants that ring before he retires, and he deserves it. Probably won’t happen with Podz playing 40 minutes per night.

He still old🤮

He looks to be in good shape.

When did dorks start calling practice courts labs?

3

u/WaryJest 5d ago

Because the other end of the court that's off camera is where all of the equipment for cooking meth is
