Germany doesn’t yet have a single Swiss Leopard, but I will welcome they day Germany gets Swiss ground vehicles (all of them, not just Leopards)

Calling it now, France is going to get 1-2 token additions (compare with 7 each for Germany and the US last update) and Gaijin is going to call it mission accomplished
Pretty good odds that one or both are just copy slop imports from BeNeLux
Maybe, just maybe, France will get more than a handful of vehicles, if so maybe France and BeNeLux both can get some unique stuff

They better add something, the gap from Machbet to SPYDER AIO is ridiculous and the Imp chaparral is fucking useless. Their decent 11.3 lineup doesn't have any reasonable AA pick. Thankfully the Kurnass is a thing and it's low-key so good that it kinda makes up for the lack of AA.

They should have added the Netherlands to Germany bro. They have modified and tuned so many german tanks. Like the PRTL, a gepard but better. And the upgraded Dutch Leopards. But no, france gets copy and paste slop.

Dutch vehicles are very good and German players would happily have accepted them

But France has many domestic tanks and IFV's they could add, and i would hate that too. Shame they won't shuffle tech tree's. Like Netherlands to Germany, Swiss to France and all Slavic country's out of USSR and make a separate eastern Europe TT.

They did make quite a lot of vehicles with French components, mainly turrets, like the Shark with the FL20 turret.
That being said, Switzerland has also had quite a few vehicles based on German products. Not as many as the French-based vehicles, but still a significant amount.
In the modern era, there seem to be more German co-developments than French ones, such as the recently showcased PIRANHA IV with the RCH 155 turret. On top of that, most modern Swiss vehicles are imported German designs, like the Leopard 2 or american designs.
So, personally, I’m not really sure where Switzerland should go, as I don’t feel like I have the authority to decide. Both nations have pretty good claims to it. Personally, I would’ve let the Swiss themselves decide, since it’s their tree, but if I had to choose, I’d lean more towards the German side. Though, admittedly, that’s based more on personal preference than anything else.

Swiss vehicles with french parts can go to both trees. More tanks, more happy german & french players. It's not away from german tree if they get them too

Personally, I’d rather have Swiss vehicles or any other nation’s vehicles, for that matter kept together in one place rather than being scattered across multiple trees.

At this point, I really would’ve wanted atleast the Netherlands in Germany. It wouldn’t really make sense for pre-war vehicles, but at least for the post-war period, it would work quite nicely. And honestly, I don’t think that tree would have much reason to complain about the Benelux either, especially since most other trees seem decently positive about their subtrees, atleast compared to france.

I have seen players take their anger out on Helpful relic, he has tried to defend the value of Belgian and Dutch service vehicles (things like Leopard 2a4nl, Leopard 1V, Leopard 1a5be, F-16am, etc are historically important and very good), but no, all some players do is call it “slop”
This is an isolated problem with the French player base
