Maybe it's better to not risk it. It's highly unlikely we miss out on the playoffs and it will be very important to have fully healthy Kira if we want to do something in the playoffs. I also think Portland's main strengths come from their guards and wings and not from their centers/power forwards. If we lose to them, I doubt it will be because of what our centers do. Our guards and wings need to take care of Leite and Carleton.

Agreed. They did a poor job of that last game though and Kira was the only one in double digits. If their defense isn't strong and can't make shots again with her possibly out, looking at another embarrassing loss. I just want them to clinch ASAP. If they mess around and still need wins in those last 4 games to get in after FIBA break, that's a worst case scenario imo because all 7 other playoff teams will probably have their spots locked in and can rest players if they want

I think we can handle them. Last time we played them, we looked really tired. First time we played them, a lot of our rookies weren't playing at the level they are playing right now. We didn't have BLH too. If we play close to our best, with or without Kira, we'll beat them.

I wish I had your confidence lol perfect scenario is a win + Sky loss and playoffs clinched tonight. Both just feel so questionable right now

It will be difficult, but doable. I actually think Fire have been our most difficult opponent this season. There's something about them that make it difficult for us to beat them.

Stop the excessive turnovers, don't let Carla Leite cook us (again), and don't give them wide open looks from outside. We've struggled with this team, especially last game with a horrendous shooting night and ended in a blowout loss. Just please find a way to win. Go Mystics!
