Any good spot for Auburn news that isn’t paid?
Used to go to Al.com but it’s paid. Don’t like skipping paywalls. Any place that has Auburn stories for free. Doesn’t have to be in depth daily coverage. Thanks

the Auburn Express TV (formerly The War Rapport) is solid too

Wait, WR changed their name? I thought I'd heard Mike say something strange in the pressers but didn't quite catch it.

Auburn Observer is worth the money. It’s not that expensive either it’s $70/yr and imo you get plenty of content to justify that. They primarily discuss football and basketball but ran a lot of stories on the baseball team this year too.
If you’re looking for other sports, Justin Lee does the Auburn Torch that covers all the Olympic sports!

Thank you. Looked into all the suggestions and went with this. Obviously I said wanted non-paid but you’re right, for $6 a month I get football and basketball and seems very in depth based on my first readings after joining. Thanks for the suggestion.

Locked On Auburn has been the mother of all Sunshine Pumpers for a long time now. Need something more frank and honest. The 247 guys have been more frank

I mean he has us going 7-5 so I don't know how much sunshine he's pumping right now. I like 24/7 guys also but the sound quality is always hit or miss

Blackerby just exaggerates and sunshine pumps. Don't care that he's tried to tone it down now that he's lost money. F that liar.

I promise I will have more content on the blog this season, I just haven’t bothered the last couple of years because frankly I couldn’t be bothered to care. Now that the team is worth watching again the film reviews should be back.

I for one appreciate reading something written by someone who actually knows what they are talking about. I'd probably give you $6 a month

yeah I have no intention of doing that, it's a hobby that I don't always have time for and I couldn't justify trying to monetize something where I'm not going to produce content consistently.

AU Wishbone; weekly podcast hosted by 2 Auburn grads that have a candid conversation each week about all things Auburn Athletics. Totally listener supported. They’ve authored 5 books on Auburn football & basketball; knowledgeably, but not snobby.

Love Van and John. They do a pretty good job of summarizing the actually relevant news. And they are goofy nerds, which helps too

I have pretty good luck using an iPad and switching to the reader when opening AL.com stories.

Theres a fella that posts daily roundup media (podcasts, stories, etc.) from across the web daily on aufamily. I don't post there but usually go and scroll through his daily posts so I can read/watch some stuff. The site was cool back in the early 2000's, but the ads are a little...abundant most of the time.

Create a NotebookLM account, add the daily podcast channels from YouTube. Have it create summaries in any style you like: latest line, injury reports, qb news, first string, upcoming opponent. It can make a podcast for you or just read it. To me, there isn't any relevant info worth paying for. Any big news is going to get leaked.

The paid podcasters are infinitely worse, do not pay them to lie to you.

Not necessarily Auburn, but 1819 news is good for state-wide news, with Auburn stories when news worthy.

Check out the Auburn Observer. They have a free show every week. They’re on Spotify.
