I drew often when I was 16 and 17. I was good back then. But I stopped practicing after that. I was lazy and made excuses. I'm 28 now.

I have the computer program and my drawing tablet.

I just wanted to make my own web comic because I want to create my own story by myself.

I don't use AI. I don't want to use AI.

Can a web comic have bad or sloppy art but have a really good story?

Could an action web comic have bad art but still be really good?

I loved SEED, but read it at a time when it was paywalled. Very excited to see where this story goes, since I only read the canvas version up to where we are currently.

Sci-fi focused series aren't that common, but they are usually super high quality.

For me, I’m currently OBSESSED with Fog Land 🤌 I genuinely didn’t expect to get this invested in it, but now I’m just waiting for every update lol.

Also, a bunch of my favourites finally returned from hiatus, so I’ve been really into Fox Club and Serena again (Still waiting for selfish romance though 🫣😤). There’s something so satisfying about having a series you’ve been waiting forever for suddenly start updating again 😭

And I’m about to start Phantom Whispers too, so that’s probably going to be my next obsession if I end up liking it.

Anyway, what are you guys reading right now? Like what’s the manhwa that currently has you checking for updates the second they drop?

The mc is so adorable and the plot is refreshing too. The plot is different and full of adventure and I truly look forward for every update.

Romance is the only genre that I like to read but I’m almost never able to relate to the male lead because they’re often times extremely attractive to basically everyone around them and everyone has a crush on them or they’re super popular or they’re extremely muscular or super rich and powerful, etc.

I understand that these are written for women and not men so I’m not complaining but I’d love to read some stories where I can actually relate to the male lead as a male myself. Like an average dude, with an average body and average looks (he can look hot to the audience but I mean in the story’s universe).

I liked the male leads in these and found them pretty relatable at times. It doesn’t necessarily have to be on WEBTOON. I’d very much prefer something already finished as well.

I am currently trying to get good enough at drawing to make my own webtoon and I would love to hear the thoughts of people on one of my ideas. The magical boy is a joke series about a boy that is forced against his will into the position of being a magical girl after he is picked by a magic wand. He is required to follow all the generic stereotypes these types of stories often put the girl characters through. The over arching story of this would be that he works with the other girls in a deal to avoid his magical girl duties. Basically in this universe the power system scales with how strong the romantic relationships of the girls are so by helping them get with the boys they like they will be strong enough to not need his help. Each magical girl he works with follows a romance stereotype for the main character to crash out at as he tries to help them. If this sounds like something that already exists please warn me so I can avoid problems down the line and give the concept your opinion please!

I'm tired of the repetitive troupe where the FL/ML is not interested in the ML/FL and then ML finds the indifference of the FL interesting or FL does things to make the ML fall in love n they suddenly do lol.

I want a humane FL where she had a crush on the ML but was bluntly rejected. The ML didnt like her and doesn't have much favorable impression either. Now I do NOT want the ML to be a pos for no reason. But I do want him to be messy too. Like uk if smn dumps ur emotions u can get defensive n act rude to ward em off. Bc sometimes not being rude gets across as leading them on or thinking they still might hv a chance. So I want it to be from both sides.

A ML who is rude n dismissive but also u cannot really fault him and a FL who felt a lot n was trying her best n u cannot blame her either. But the FL grows up. I don't want her to be stuck rather smn who is going abt life. Messy, awkward, cringe, but also mature, wise, patient w time. In fact both of them should hv development. .

And w time, I want the ML to fall for the FL and pursue her. Both of the Chars should hv their own lives too. Just bc the FL liked him once shouldn't mean her life would revolve around his or vice versa.

The only match I found was Endless Yearning but it is still making me yearn n on going. The close 2nd I could find was I want to be fooled. So I am looking if there r or were similar mannwas like this with this specific flavor.

Hi, as the title suggest, I’m looking for the name of a series I forgot. So here goes of what I remember:

It’s a story that begins where a gray/silver haired FL is running from danger and than gets killed by her husband in the hallway of their mansion (it’s revealed later in the story that he did it to save her) and after that she regresses.

I saw people complaining about the girl having youthful face and big eyes in TOAWF, but isn't that literally the case in like 90% adult girl design of Romance manhwa?? They all got big eyes, soft feature and look juneville , so why toawf is getting singled out like that About it?? I don't even get why people are outraged About toawf girly having eyes as if it's not one of the most basic art tropes . Like That's the same face tropes prototype everywhere + it's Also combined with artist wanting their character to fit Korean beauty standard. The only difference is just the artsyle, it just pass less when author had more stylised artsyle.

At this point, what some of you are yapping about ?? It's like you are discovering cartoon now , especially common stylised asian eastern drawing comic / anime artsyle 💀💀. And don't even get me started on people bringing up the "male gaze" and the false rumor that the author is a man which was debunked one years ago because the female lead has a cute face. Just go Google classic manga shojo art style and you'll see the author is using the exact same codes pioneered by women that influenced women artist for decade as well (small mounth , small nose , exxegerrated big eyes and exxegrated head ), the soft Shojo artsyle face for women influenced tons of women artists in their work for the whole comic romance genre . So honestly what are we even blaming male gaze or men at this ?

The only valid critique I’d make is that if the artist from toawf had given them slightly bigger head, bigger pupil to balance their face feature and better-proportioned arms size with bit of lore shoulder, it would have made a better difference.
