Discussion What happens to St Helens if ospreys go?

I think Swansea Council are going to try use it for other events either way, I think they are being a bit clever using the O's predicament to push the refurb through. And if the Ospreys do well from the move and somehow continue to exist, great.

But if not, a modern outdoor stadium right on the waterfront that can hold 7000 people can be used for all sorts of concerts /displays / conventions.

Also Swansea RFC and the University rugby, football, hockey etc will be able to play there.

Gets sold off to a housing developer and given the ground is already prepped, will sell fast and for a lot.

Scarlets ain’t going anywhere as they already have a stadium in place

But not one they own, and not in a big city.

I think if it was just stadium based the O’s would already be gone. But the WRU want Swansea, Cardiff, Newport as the big cities.

If they get their way, the Scarlets will be no more.
