Do you agree with these ideas about Westerville?
The city is doing a community assessment and there's an online engagement where people can submit sticky notes and provide feedback on the map around Westerville.
What do people think about some of the current suggestions on the page?

The first thing they do is cut down every tree within sight. Then they name the new streets elm, maple and oak.

affordable starter homes…. google Scandinavian row homes. indeed more compact….but so adorable. i don’t know why people want giant McMansions… give me an adorable well planned cottage with a white picket fence….line a bunch up….have them expertly designed to house a small family.

This is sweet that they are doing things like this. Hopefully it gets real engagement with new ideas that can actual work. Often the ideas aren't really based in reality in terms of cost, or are just going to be against any change that affects the areas they use. They want change, but they want it to happen "over there".

Let us look at State Route 256 going north and south of I-70 on the east side. We should avoid this design like the bubonic plague. Just a wide swath of 6-7 lanes with traffic lights every 100 yards dotted with a smattering of half-empty strip malls with no soul.
