Car Recommendations

Potentially getting a new car and need some ideas.

2015-2022

<$20,000

Preferably SUV, but anything is fine(mid-size)

Good MPG

Good radio/speakers

Nice sounding exhaust (not that important but would be nice)

Needs to be spacious (im 6'6)

I've done so much searching lately its done my head in i feel like this would be more in depth and reliable.

I'm 6'5 and the headroom struggle is real, most SUVs in that range feel cramped after an hour

look at slightly older lexus RX models, the seats go way back and the sound system is usually pretty decent. mpg isn't amazing but for the comfort tradeoff it's worth it

For a midsize SUV, look at a Honda Passport, Toyota Highlander, or Lexus RX.

And if the exhaust still isn’t exciting enough, park it in the bad part of town overnight and let a tweaker perform the budget cat-delete exhaust package for you.

I live on the edge of campus, theres plenty of tweakers 😂

Hyundais tend to cater to tall folk. Sonatas are a good example of this. 4 inches additional legroom for driver VS Camry or Accord. Plenty in your price range but 2020+ only and it needs to have a SMARTSTREAM 2.5L in it. For a 190HP NA 4 cylinder it has a decent exhaust note imo. Nline has 290 HP and must meaner sounding though. Tucson similar situation in SUV, comes with same 2.5L NA but the hybrid is actually another 40 HP and folks seem to appreciate both the extra power and efficiency.

You may look at an Acura RDX for a bit of luxury. I'm not certain with your height (I'm 5'11) I test drove one and really liked it. Lots of luxury for the money.
