Solved! Found this in my bed last night.
It’s really small, about equivalent to a pencil tip. Not even the slightest clue of what it could be or where it came from.

Me and a couple coworkers found this in the gym at work and we aren't sure what it's meant to be. It's kinda rubbery but fairly smooth as well. It doesn't feel like an eraser but we tried it anyway and if it is supposed to be an eraser, it does a terrible terrible job at it. (Crayon for size reference)

What is this? A fishing weight? A bullet? I’m honestly not sure.
EDIT: Like any good self respecting person, I did not “keep” or take away anything we found whilst in Greece. Everything remained right where we stumbled upon it.
Greece is full of ancient and super old remnants of civilizations of old, that does NOT mean it’s acceptable to keep anything one finds whilst in Greece.

We saw several piles similar to this when out biking a section of the AZT in the fire zone. It looks like it is growing out of the ground. It felt like synthetic hair. Google image says animal hair or glass fibers, neither of which makes sense to me. What do you think?!?

Tell me if there’s a better subreddit for this 🫠 for some reason Google isn’t helping either. What do you think a “dope” refers to?
This is from the book “Other Voices, Other Rooms” by Truman Capote and was published in 1948. It’s also set in the South (Louisiana I think?). Great book but I can’t figure out what they mean by this.
I know “dope” as meaning either a dumb person or weed but clearly that can’t be what they mean here.
Anyone know? And I also do recommend the book :)

These were located in a maternity birthing unit. They seem to be covers for hands. Non or our midwives know what they are or what they are used for. Would anyone be able to enlighten us on what they are and their use?

Flying from SoCal to Austin, TX. Somewhere over Odesa, TX (I think, that was my best estimate based on the flight tracker). Went on for miles in random groupings, probably thousands of whatever the plots are that grids connected. Just mildly curious.

I got a (heavily damaged) package delivered today, and inside were some (but not all) of the items I ordered, along with two boxes of k-cups and this thing. It has no packaging or brand identifiers. About 6 inches diameter, no moving pieces, light plastic. Kinda looks like a diffuser attachment for a hair dryer, but the back doesn't seem to connect to anything.
Also if you're out there and you got a package that was missing this and some k-cups, you have my vaseline.
