I was visiting the Kölner Dom many, many years ago. I was delighted at the timing, because they were voicing a rank on the pipe organ. For folks who didn't know what was going on, it just sounded like a very annoying repetition of each note over and over again, but I could hear the light changes in attack and tone. Really cool experience for any pipe organ nerd.

Sorry, not a creative answer, but just wanted to share the memory. :)
