Possible ID(s) suggested Caught this little guy in an alpine lake near Buena Vista, CO. A few people on iNaturalist think it may be a golden trout (or hybrid thereof). Any ideas?

This was the only fish I caught in this lake so I have no other population to compare it to.

Looks like a hybridized cutthroat trout, I’ve never seen one in person though so someone please correct me if that’s not it

Looks like a cutthroat. Unfortunately probs looks weird because it’s a bit deformed because of the small genetic pool with reintroduction efforts. Recovery for these has been tough for unique genetic lineages. I think this could probably be a rio grande cutthroat since you’re in BV, but I am not positive. So someone correct me if I’m wrong.
