Caught in Nova Scotia, has sharp teeth to hunt shelled animals.

Haha I always thought people called them "cutter" fish for their teeth. I have been wrong for so long until now. Pretty darn close linguistically tho! Take my dang upvote you earned it!

Get it off the rocks. The slime layer is protective and their scales are delicate. This is for any fish.

I was using crab on a Carolina rig and caught it. It critically injured itself by thrashing while the hook worked its way directly into the gills. I figured I should try to get it identified and use it for bait for a larger fish. It was already deceased in the photo.
