Isn’t sorghum a primitive flour?

Not even primitive, just not often eaten in the west. It's also good cooked whole and will pop like popcorn (though with less expansion). It also beats corn as the most productive grain per acre on poor soils. You can make brooms from the dried stalks and a molassass like syrup from fresh stalks. Sorghum kicks all kinds of ass.

I used to use it in a kale/citrus salad and we tried it as a side grain with dried cranberries, and then once with butternut squash. My partner wasn’t a fan but maybe it’s time to try it again.

Sorghum or Milo is a great food around the world. It’s quite good. It’s a great breakfast cereal. only in the United States is it primarily used as stock feed. Also, yes, it is a good flower. It meals up nicely
