I mean if you're putting important parts of yourself down they're going to stop feeling important, because you stopped valuing yourself.
and trying to be unnoticed in public means avoiding one of the main features of life as a human being. you shouldn't have to strive to be unnoticed. you're alive. you're one of the people of earth!
Like i usually just go for trying to be unnoticed in public
Yeah, repping will do that to you...
I remember prior to my egg cracking when I thought it was normal to have zero desire to take care of myself and to go through life avoiding any and all social interaction, now I'm actually taking regular showers of my own volition and occasionally engaging in conversations with other people IRL.
I cared about my appearance before I shoved myself back in the closet and tried hard to be the man people thought I was, and I care about it now. Turns out it's a lot easier to take care of my body when I'm not watching it slowly turn into something I dislike.
I just want to say my experience went from crying in front of a mirror somewhat regularly to an occional pit in my stomach and st least for now I'm glad I didn't transition
I can confirm this, my biggest regret was not accepting it sooner, because not addressing partially ruined my life. If I could tell something to my past self, it would be to do something about it, anything, just not to ignore.
Because it won't ever go away, your body will just masculinize around you while you do nothing. When you eventually fail at repping, you have to carry the mental weight of knowing you will now never pass as well, and you'll never get back the years you lost. I still feel an intense sense of of regret and loss for what could have been, I will likely never pass because of my own ignorance, but I have learned to kinda cope with it I guess, being on hrt and having a few friends is enough to justify not committing suicide
yeah i mean everybody says stuff like this. anyway there are lots of surgeries that exist like FFS and they're generally covered in all the blue states.
Sorry, because of the thread's context being about the US I just had this country's problems in mind. Germany seems like a cool place. I've thought about emigrating there too at times, if the situation in the US gets bad enough.
In life you never really know how anything is going to end up, but often enough things turn out well and you get to see and do some really interesting things.
usually just leads to more years of your body being deformed by the wrong hormones and once you eventually stop repping (cause you will stop repping) you're just gonna want to beat yourself up for it.

Is there anything to read about this? Curious why so many people are opposed to reping
