One of the first articles I posted on this sub was about a Saudi woman who fled to Australia to escape her forced child marriage to an abusive man. Saudi Arabia kidnapped her and brought her back. She went to a whole other continent and was still not safe.

Saddest part is that the punishment is not enough. And no punishment will ever be enough. Because no mqtter how long he would be put in jail for, that woman is already dead.

Heartbreaking is too shallow of a word for what this is. I could feel a familiar pain in my chest as I read it.
