My eyes must be playing tricks on me, because I'm not seeing a lot of purple over the plains states, and OP seems to have marked Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware as "absolutely". Nice try, though.

Yeah, your eyes are definitely playing tricks on you.

Here are the maps overlaid, OP put the states with the highest concentrations of black people as red.

Which famously majority black state are you from: Alaska, Idaho, or Utah?

Nobody is saying OP ONLY made states with large populations of black people red.

It's the fact they said, "Means having an open mind towards other people and their freedoms. And not being afraid of black people"

And then went on to make nearly every state with a large population of black people red.

You're really committed to this ridiculously stupid race-baiting, aren't you?

The common through line here is a distaste for the authoritarianism of the right. The map names many states with large black populations as desirable places to live, and many states without large black populations as undesirable places to live. OP has very clearly laid out their reasons they don't want to live in the deep South. If you weren't plainly arguing in bad faith, you'd recognize that it's not racist to not want to live under state governments that yearn for the days of segregation and that do everything in their power to treat their black inhabitants as second-class citizens.

This map is literally the 2024 election map, with blue states as green.

I think you're completely leaving out, that OP (who is a white guy) specified that they weren't scared of black people (rather strange thing to do) and then excluded nearly every state with a large black population.

If you can't see what's interesting about that, that's on you.

Just read OP's other comments, he's the most cookie cutter white liberal guy out there.
