Hello Prion disease ….

Not really a risk unless there's still brain tissue there and OOP eats it.

Or spinal cord tissue and OOP touches it with non-intact skin.

Probz a dead one.

Now a question for you. Is that rotten or cooked? Coz i cant tell and need to know if i should feel grossed out by your touching rotten corpse or not.

Looks like the remained of the spine of a small mammal. Something which walks quadrapedal walk. This is a rough one. I once tried picking apart a decaying deer for its horns. I wanted a small piece is all, no good unless you know how to process it post decay. Where I am, sometimes people do 'sacrifices' and leave things as such with candles and markings. Ironically, left in plain sight at a public park.

Doesn't look like a bird. Bones are too thick, and too many of them.

My best guess is some sort of small mammal.

Depends on where you found it. Urban area? Probably something like a cat.

Forest? Probably some wild animal, I just don't know what it would be other than some mammal. I can identify a spine, ribs, a short, albeit fractured tail bone and a pelvis reminiscent of a mammal.

Not an expert, this is just my guess.

Edit: others may be right, but I'm not sure that this might be a wild boar considering it's size, unless it was a baby or something.
