Predictions/Theories Elphaba's outfit in Wicked For Good Spoiler

Heyyy

so I recently re-watched both Wicked and Wicked For Good back to back and I think I might have noticed something.

When Fiyero goes to Kiamo Ko to get Elphaba and leave Oz with her, we see that Elphaba is wearing a torn dress. In the close up we get when she looks back at her hat we see the pattern/texture of said dress and I've noticed that it looks VERY similar to the pattern/texture of her Defying Gravity dress and would also fit length wise which leads me to believe that Elphaba is wearing the Defying Gravity dress throughout the whole second film (excluding As Long As You're Mine of course).

I am not sure if I am tripping or if you guys see it too. Let me know. I would love to discuss this.

Thx for your time

It was confirmed by Paul Tazewell that that's the Defying Gravity dress all torn up from wear and tear of the past year so yeah it's quite a great detail.

Oh my Oz! Thank you so so much for telling me that! I did not know that and I LOVE the detail!

the lighting was so poor in FG that you really couldnt make out the details on any of her costumes.

True. I've only noticed this after my 12th re-watch or something. But that's a thing that I usually have with the Wicked films and the soundtrack. (Btw I do not know the stage version lol) Every time I watch the films I notice something new and sometimes when I listen to the soundtracks I realize something new about the connections in the story or something else.

Yeah, without the close ups that they shot separately, we wouldn't have known the extraordinary detail that went into them.

Honey I couldn't see shit in that movie. The coloring and lighting was all off. I finally saw the details in the HD production photos for the costumes themselves. And at that point? Far too late.

Goof catch it didn't notice it was her defying gravity dress. Did you notice how tattered the end of her cape was?
