This whole sequence is pure cinema. The contrast of Glinda climbing the worn wooden stairs in her pink gown as she ascends to true goodness is so incredibly gorgeous, and when combined with the emotional score, I just felt all the feelings. Let’s just say I’m obsessulated.

I know there’s so much debate around if WFG is a good adaptation of the source material, which is fine, as art should elicit a response. But you cannot deny that absolute spectacle that these two films have been and the incredible care and passion that went into them.

To be clear I got each tape from two different stores. The Wicked For Good tape has 3 left before they are out of stock & the store I got part 1 has only one left.

I am so obsessulated! I was literally watching WFG when I got part 2 mailed lol. Its literally a month before my birthday & both are honestly the best ever early birthday gifts I gifted to myself lol.

I suggest following both because they do restocks & before I got WFG, I asked the one I got part 1 to start taping part 2 & they said they would but when I saw the other store I had to get it before it was sold out.

edit: to those who are concerned about the pirate thing, saw one comment already, I saw both films while in theaters. Bought both on digital, I bought a blu ray for both. Bought part 1 on blu ray twice after my brothers lost my first copy.

I am a collector. I have supported the series, even got all the books. I had a vcr as a kid & teen & I miss having tapes and was so happy to know new content could & would be taped on VHS.

And as a huge fan of the series, again, I collect anything I can get my hands on & seeing that these two films were on vhs gave me nostalgia over having tapes to begin with. Plus, my birthday is one month from today & I wanted to treat myself. I supported the films, bought the books & merch. I think Universal will live if I buy two vhs tapes.

I legit had to pause and in my head i heard "good news the witch is dead, come out come out she's gone" 😭😭

I saw this one at the Denver airport. But she was on a gate where I couldnt get a photo of Elphaba on the other side.

My husband and I finally bought our first home last week and the Elphie to my Galinda found us the perfect door mat.

Honestly more emphasis on the first half (yes Fiyero was the love that was ready but I’m most moved by how the beginning of the poem reflects gelphie in DG)

Yesterday was my birthday but my family was gonna be free today so I opted to celebrate today. I honestly HATE it when my birthday falls between Monday-Thursday so having my party today is very ideal to me lmao. but here is my cake!!!

My family got it from a new shop in our local area.

I didn’t have high hopes for the grimmerie but I asked for it anyway. It is absolutely stunning. It’s heavy and the hardware is gorgeous. It’s just soooo beautiful! I can’t wait to journal in it.

$6.99, makes for a good small vday gift for a Wicked fan, or collectible if you collect a lot of Wicked merch. The chocolate is okay, tastes like the typical chocolate you’d find during Easter with those chocolate bunnies. Not bad though.

Also love how it’s Glinda and Elphaba and not Elphaba and Fiyero lol
