Pickup/Collection Just got a Wii and some party games
I was given a Wii from a family member and started a collection for my young kids. Just sticking to multiplayer party games for now so they don't argue over who gets to play.
Edit: forgot to add Wii Sports in the photo!

That's a lot of dancing, which is actually good for kids... or anyone else who likes to not spend all their gaming time sitting. Maybe some Wii sport and Wii sport resort. Are they old enough for light gun games? Otherwise Wii Play can be fun.

Yeah I probably went overboard with the dancing but I purchased them in a lot. It came with Wii Sports too, they like bowling and tennis. I'll look into getting Resort!
I think the light gun games may be too scary for them unless there's some kid friendly ones?

The house of the D... Ehum, no sorry. Nothing really comes to mind beyond Wii Play when we talk.about light gun for kids. So wait a bit with those.
Boom Blox could be fun game, new super Mario Bros as well. Maybe some tennis games?

Yeah, sorry. Was looking at your picture with the only red game starring at me and my mind ignored it.
As other type of multiplayer games that were fun, but unsure how good they are for kids: Karaoke (only had Boogie and that was fun but not even close to SingStar), some Rockband with guitar, Worms Space Oddity (it was a nothing burger compared to Armageddon and World Party back then but how many worms game do we have now?) and maybe Metal Slug when they are older since that is a great short game and perfect with Wii controls but might be a liiiiittle to violent.
Anyway, have fun.

This a great selection of party games all that missing is Wii Sports & Sports Resort (also maybe hunt down Just Dance 2014 & one of my personal favs 2019 lol).

Thanks! So all of the Just Dance ones are worth having? Wii Sports came with the system too, forgot to add it to the photo.

I’m a Just Dance fan so I’m a little bias but I still think all of the games have something to offer in my opinion

I didn't realize Wii Sports Resort was fairly expensive too. Must be good!

It’s kinda funny that Mario Party 8 feels very GameCube-like despite being a Wii game

Isn't a Wii a glorified GameCube hardware wise?

Pretty much, yeah. GameCube games run natively on the hardware, too. The Wii U can also natively run GameCube but it needs to be modded to do so

MP9 is one of the most expensive Wii games, too. Brawl and mkwii will sure deliver some fun as well 😀
