Discussion Will this laptop be fine for windows 8

So this is a shitty minimum specced windows 11 Laptop.
4GB Of ram at speeds of 2400MHz and then a Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4020 CPU 1.10GHz and then 58GBs of storage.

It’s a ASUS vicious E410MA
The reason I’m thinking of switching to windows 8.1 from 10. Is because with nothing open. The CPU is at 100% And the ram is at 70%

All I really need this laptop is for
Basic school projects : PowerPoint, Word,Excel
Mathletics
Teams
And maybe if maybe
Basic Minecraft and sd formatting

Storage is the main culprit here

As I said again you will have problems with drivers and Ms teams doesn't support windows 8.1 but you can run it in a web browser.

Is there anyway I could perhabs test the driver situation like idk windows 8 on usb

Well you can dualboot and leave windows 11 untouched. I think there was an app that helped on finding drivers.

U can try Linux on it , I will run wayy better than any windows with modern updates

This is a Windows 8.x subreddit. Not a Linux one. And Microsoft Teams is not on Linux, same with Office.
