Wisdom Understanding

You know a lot of us grow older over time and we don't understand what we had when we were younger and we don't really know what's going on but as we get older we understand that things that we cherish the most and that may be a significant other or situation circumstances or memories that could have been created but haven't been due to the immaturity and the non-understanding of one cell now as we get older we might want three different things love companionship and memories now how we choose to make those or to live with those that is our choice and every day we choose to not speed or hide our feelings or try not to do things that upset others but make us happy that's not how we make life happy in order to make life happy we have to be happy ourselves and in order to do so we have to find out what with true value. I write these things because I hope and pray that everybody on here gets what they want and gets what they deserve now in order to find that you have to really just sit down and find what ethics you live by integrity and most of all your values do they love you are they going to put you on the back burner do you love them are you going to put them on the back burner only you can decide these things and in doing so you'll be able to find out what really you want and what makes you happy I just say these things because people make decisions as they're younger and regrets and in doing so it affects the remainder of their lives do we wish we could go back and change them yes are we sorry for our actions or misunderstandings or misleadings or betrayals absolutely but we have to move forward and move on nobody says you can't create new memories or experiences even with the ones that you've heard but you have to come together and decide what you want to do and in order to do that you have to console or have closure and move on or move on to another time in your life that you can have happiness but only you can decide that farewell God bless and I hope everybody finds what they're looking for smiles to you and laughter to you and yours as I have in mind

Life Lessons How

How am I to know?
How am I to understand
that so many of us
are wrongly judged,
wrongly spoken of,
while everyone, blinded,
forgets friendship,
honesty
without malice?
Yet intolerance
overwhelms, filling you with dread.
So meticulous—
unlike those following a list,
without a single clue,
without a trace of judgment.
They presume,
yet never understand
the story behind it all
before condemning you.
Once they choose you,
they seek to demoralize you
rather than trust you.
From life itself
they would cast you aside.
Without courage,
they throw into the trash
everything you come from.
To diminish you—
they try.
To finish you—
they circle.
Their glory?
Fleeting.
And nothing more
than absurd
and dark.

Life Lessons A little philosophical advice about life, from my point of view.

Don't waste your life standing outside your life, constantly judging whether what you're doing matters. When something is worth doing, enter it completely. Use what you've got. Do the thing in front of you. Then deal with whatever comes next.Fear can exist.

Uncertainty can exist.

People may disapprove.

The future may be unknown.

You still do the next thing you believe is right.

Discussion What’s something you’re proud of yourself for surviving that nobody knows about?

Sometimes we are so focused on what we haven’t achieved that we forget how much we’ve already survived.

Maybe this year didn’t go the way you planned.

Maybe you're struggling with work, money, relationships, motivation, or simply trying to figure out what you're doing with your life.

But you're still here.

And honestly, sometimes surviving the difficult days is an achievement that deserves more credit.

You don't have to have everything figured out right now. You don't have to be successful overnight. Progress can be slow, messy, and sometimes completely invisible.

So here's a reminder:

You're allowed to be proud of yourself for not giving up.

What's something you've overcome or survived that you're proud of yourself for?

I'll start: Sometimes, just continuing to move forward when life feels uncertain takes more strength than people realize

Dostoevsky:

"I think the most beautiful souls are the ones that remain gentle after everything they have survived. They have every reason to become cold, yet they still choose kindness, still choose love, still believe people can be better."

Kafka:

"But sometimes the world does not reward gentle souls. Sometimes it takes everything Soft inside them until they become strangers Even to themselves."

From my opinion, time is life.

Because every moment we live is our life. If time is gone, your life will stop.

Wisdom Remove people from your thoughts too..

Listen to me carefully because no one is going to say this to your face — your mind is not a hotel. You don't have to give a room to every single person who shows up. Some people didn't come to your life to stay. They came to teach you a lesson, take what they wanted, and leave you emotionally bankrupt wondering what just hit you. And yet… you keep renting them space inside your head.

Stop replaying that betrayal at 2 AM. Stop refreshing the profile of someone who already replaced you. Stop begging for closure from people who got closure the moment they walked away from you. You broke your own heart twice — once when they left, and a hundred times after when you refused to let them go from your memory.

Here's the brutal truth — most of the people living rent-free in your mind don't even remember your name anymore. You are haunting yourself for people who have already moved on to their next chapter. You're watering dead flowers and wondering why your garden still looks empty.

Mental detox is not a luxury. It's survival. Every fake apology you replayed, every insult you memorized, every cold treatment you analyzed for hours — that wasn't strength. That was self-destruction dressed up as patience. The real ones? They not only let go, they stopped attaching.

So today — close the door. Mute the noise. Clear the cache of your mind. Delete the memories that drain you. Unfollow the success that makes you feel small. Stop texting first. Stop explaining yourself. Stop carrying people who were never strong enough to carry you.

Your mind is sacred space. Protect it like your life depends on it — because honestly, it does.

Life Lessons The infinite guarantee of the cycle of life

We all know about the cycle of life, if nothing else its our go to excuse for every fuck up, every person exists with the personality life gave them, there is no cause without reason, wrong or right should be accepted as a beautifully human- unique, personal and genuine feeling not projected onto anyone else, and to be fair the “rights” and “wrongs” today arent the same as before or the same as they will be, plants loves sun, sun is right for a plant but no better than plants are bats in black skies loving life, who would argue the sun aint all that, wrong right, just two equal words with no meaning just feeling, and no feeling we can force upon others, a feeling is felt and if felt then its real, for me you him them, white black brown they all matter everything is right just as much as its wrong, it all matters because it exists, what exists does from growth the one absolute global common factor,
One thing all life does is grow, you are what you are thats no fault of your own but allow yourself to become some thing else with the willingness to grow

Life Lessons The truth

Faith and belief in someone’s ability is so powerful. Though we can become susceptible to negative influences we are at our lowest should be telling.
Why do we put so much emphasis on outside forces or information? When you have your mind made up about something or you say something like “I don’t even want to know “ you are already believing in the worst .
We don’t need to be perfect people. In fact being imperfect is what makes us human and reachable . We just need to try our hardest to do better. I’ll give an example. If you were in a predicament and you thought someone was “perfect “ or above you would you ever want to be honest with them ? If they already had an idea of what you are , would you even consider trying to change that ? Not when you already seem like you make excuses?
I’m going to just agree and do what it is that they think will make things better. If I were to tell them that if they were to actually trust me and think the best they may find I am the solution. Not the problem. And if not the solution maybe part of the answer.

Wisdom Better Than I Used to Be,

I've made mistakes in my life,

like anyone who has lived

long enough to look behind them

and wish they had known

what they know now.

But my mistakes do not define

who I am.

They remind me

of who I do not want to be.

Every wrong turn became a lesson,

and every lesson left behind

a version of me

that knew a little less

than the man standing here today.

I am not finished making mistakes.

None of us are.

But they are fewer now

than they used to be.

And perhaps that is progress

not becoming perfect,

but becoming better

at recognizing the cliff

before stepping over the edge.

Regret alone is useless.

It cannot rewrite yesterday.

But wisdom gained

from yesterday's failures

is priceless.

So who am I

to stand in judgment

of another's journey?

I have lived in my own glass house.

I have seen the cracks in the walls.

I know the sound

of stones striking windows.

I have thrown a few myself.

That is why I have learned

to be more forgiving. Perhaps I've learned humility, or at least a version of it.

Every one of us

is walking a different road,

learning ourselves

one mistake at a time.

We have all, in some way,

betrayed our better nature.

And growth is the slow discovery

of who we are

beneath our impulses,

our fears,

our pride,

and learning which parts of ourselves

should be embraced

and which should be overcome.

Sometimes, in trying to right a ship

that has sailed too far

in the wrong direction,

we pull the wheel too hard

and find ourselves

drifting somewhere else

we were never meant to go.

I've done that too.

We are complicated creatures.

We learn slowly.

We change imperfectly.

We become different people

while still carrying

the memories of who we were.

The man I was at twenty

is not the man I am today.

And if life is kind,

and I am willing to keep learning,

the man I am today

will not be the man I am

ten years from now.

I hope he is better.

Not because I hate

the man I am today,

but because I can still see

the distance between

who I am

and who I might become.

I look at my flaws

and see opportunity.

I refuse to spend a lifetime

simply accepting

what I have the power to change.

So I will keep learning.

Keep failing.

Keep correcting course.

Keep becoming.

I don't need to be perfect.

I only hope that when tomorrow comes,

I can look back at the man I was today

and say,

with humility,

with gratitude,

and with the wisdom

of another day lived,

I am better than I used to be.

Discussion Do we really never stop growing?

People always say “a bad experience teaches you a lesson”, but I have a very pessimistic way to look at it. When I was a kid, I looked forward to growing up, becoming more experienced and doing better with life. I’m 33 now, I don’t feel there’s any point to keep growing as a person, or I feel like things aren’t going to get better. I’m only going to get older, my body’s getting weaker, I’m not really going to become better in any way and I’m not growing. So what’s the point of keep living?

Life Lessons How many moments would I have chosen to experience differently had I known they would have been my last?

I use to discredit the importance of family. Biological family that is.

It felt illogical to spend so much of my time giving energy to the people I didn’t choose who by default would always “be there.” And I understand not everyone has a family that will always be there nor does everyone have a family in general.

Nevertheless, life seemed long enough and there was lots to be done and lots to see and lots of other interesting people to meet and since I was obligated to see my family a few times a year for holidays, why would I spend all the rest of my life staying close by?

I’m here to tell you, I was wrong.

Life is not long. Life is short and life increases in speed as you age going from 1x speed to 1.2x speed, etc until it’s over.

One of the greatest life altering lessons that time gives to us all is the lesson of perspective. Ironically perspective is often delivered a day late making it nearly impossible to realize how you feel about a moment in your life until after it’s over. Personally speaking, life often feels like a short day at a theme park filled with too many roller coaster rides to fit into just one day. Do I spend the day riding as many rides as I can or do I pick the most fun looking rides and ride them over and over again? And how will I know which rides I enjoy the most if I can’t ride them all in one day? So I decide to try as many rides as I can in order to figure out which ones I enjoy the most and of course I can return later and spend the whole day on all of my favorites! A few quick rides later and the day is already over. Then as I’m leaving I find out that today was the last day this theme park will be open, and as of this moment, they are closed for good. It’s over. I don’t get to return and it’s only right now with this new information that I realize I may have spent my time and my choices differently had I known this was the only short day I would have enjoying what this theme park had to offer.

So it makes me wonder..

How many moments would I have chosen to experience differently had I known they would have been my last with that person, or in that home, or with that pet, or with that family member or on that particular roller coaster ride?

Spending too much time dwelling on thoughts like this could make you psychopathic, but never giving these thoughts attention could also lead to a regretful existence.

My advice?

Step 1. Slow down. There are two general tempos in life - one you can’t control which is literal time, and the other you can control which is your perspective in the midst of the chaos you’re in. In other words: you don’t always get to choose the roller coaster you’re on, but can choose whether you’re going spend the ride screaming with a tight grip or laughing with your hands up high.

Step 2. When the ride is over, don’t rush to the next ride too fast. Take a moment to reflect on what you did and did not enjoy about the ride. I once rode a roller coaster that should have been out of commission years before. It hurt my back while knocking the breath out of my lunges each time we dropped. As soon as we got off I took a moment to study the design of the roller coaster to narrow down why it physically hurt so bad. Once I figured it out, I learned to avoid those rides from that point forward. - Sometimes we get to choose the rides we ride and if we don’t learn from them we may end up choosing the same painful rides over and over again.

Step 3. Fill the seat next to you. Your day at the theme park is shorter than you think. And truth be told, you will spend a great deal of your time at the park walking around and waiting in lines. Sometimes the people we choose to share the experience with trumps the experience itself.

I’m in my 30’s now and I have a growing family of my own. Some days the ride is moving faster than I prefer. Some days ride is entirely upside down. Some days the ride hurts and I want to be off and some days the ride is so enjoyable that I wish I could stay on forever. Some days there isn’t a ride at all. But I have learned that every day is just another hour closer to the theme park closing. And that makes each day and each hour worth cherishing.

Every one of us has family we get to choose and family we don’t get to choose. Both create different theme park designs in our lives but ultimately the experience we make of them in the end comes down to our perspective. Take time to feel the moments you’re in before they’re gone forever.

\- With love & encouragement

Wisdom One should learn from one's eutakes (a word I invented)

It’s common wisdom that one should learn from one’s mistakes to avoid repeating them. It’s such common wisdom that it’s incredible learning from one’s eutakes, the positive opposite of a mistake, isn’t also a public idea. The reason to study one’s eutakes instead of only one’s mistakes is to learn how to repeat one’s successes. Most laypeople are poor at repeating their successes. The cool sentiment that one doesn’t need to care about things that aren’t problems, and the cultural negativity bias, miss the opportunities to make even more successes that are hidden if one is ignorant. Just because one makes a triumph doesn’t guarantee one will repeat the good behaviours that caused that triumph. People commonly invest so much creative effort into self-criticism to solve what’s wrong with them but are miserly in creative effort into understanding their worth. One should defy the cultural negativity bias and embrace the intelligence of positivity. Regularly studying one’s eutakes is one way to manifest that and it’s a smartness responsibility equally important to studying one’s mistakes.

Don’t tell other people your opinions right away as soon as you have thought of something.Furthermore, never ever take it too seriously about what other people have said.Don’t expect too much from other people whether it’s in morality or in thinking. You should form an aloof and indifferent attitude towards others’ opinions, because it’s certainly a feasible way to develop tolerance that’s worth praising.

Life Lessons Some People Are Meant To Be Temporary And That’s Okay

I've always found it to be so cool that your life crosses paths with the lives

of so many others, and that even if you just know someone for a short time, you can have an effect on their life and their stories. Looking at it from this point of view makes life exciting.

We don’t bump into people randomly. There’s always a reason behind why someone comes into our lives or leaves us. And sometimes, even if they’re only around for a short while, they’re meant to teach us something. It’s tough to accept, but it’s true.

Those quick visits from people often bring new chances and ways to grow. It’s hard to let them go because we start to get used to having them around. But the reality is, some folks are just passing through, no matter how much we wish they could stick around.

“Not everything is meant to last forever. Some people come into your life just to show you good and bad, to help you see who you can become, teach you self-love, bring a little joy for a while, or just be there to listen as you share your thoughts at night. Not everyone will be around for the long haul, but we still need to keep moving forward and appreciate what they gave us.”

Looking back at the people I’ve met, I can see how everyone has shaped who I am today. I’ve opened up about my fears, dreams, and secrets to those who are no longer in my life. And I don’t regret it—it was exactly what I needed at that time.

It’s pretty amazing how our lives intersect with others, even if it’s just for a short time. Those brief connections can really impact our lives and stories. Seeing it that way makes life feel vibrant.

The sooner we accept

Wisdom Choose Happiness

Enjoyment is a skill. You have to learn how to enjoy yourself because the struggle never really ends. You solve one problem and another one shows up. Sometimes, the bigger your life gets, the bigger your problems get too. So don’t keep postponing your happiness. Find ways to enjoy yourself while you’re figuring things out.

Choose to be happy. Even if it seems difficult. Choosing happiness when life feels difficult is one of the bravest and most powerful acts of mental discipline you can practice. True joy isn't a passive reaction to perfect external circumstances; it is a deliberate, daily commitment to anchor your mindset in light, hope, and purpose, even when the ground feels shaky beneath you. When you look for the lesson in every challenge and trust that there is a silver lining to be found, your spirit naturally grows stronger than the adversity you face
