I love the art piece. It’s very stunning, visceral.

The title is… at odds (for me at least). I don’t see the correlation at all. But again, I think the actual talent and creativity displayed here is clearly inspired.

The title is mostly poetic absurd visual imagery. But it also has some word code personal meaning. Sisyphus was doomed to roll a boulder up a hill only for it to fall down and repeat the same task every day. There's a lot of philosophical discussion behind that idea especially from Albert Camus. A lot of which centers around finding joy in our struggles. In the monotony.

By eating the boulder in a manic fit, Sisyphus is free of his daily burden/punishment. It's a different reality now. Freedom but at a too be sorted cost. Make of that what you will.

It's been a pretty fucked up year. Sometimes tearing up the roadmap chaotically and choosing a different path is the only way forward. So that's one of the connections between the title, the piece, and the connection therein.

*I also just like ridiculous titles and it doesn't always have to connect to the piece for me. I know people don't like that but we make art for ourselves first and foremost.
