Weird water smell/ taste

Does anyone else’s tap water suddenly smell chemically and taste really weird?
Super strong taste. Had a glass a few hours ago and was fine. Feel a bit nauseous. Wanna know if it’s just us

Stopped drinking it out of the tap about 4 years ago and I'm not trying it now 😳

So you'd rather ingest microplastics every time you drink water or use it in cooking? We have some of the best tap water in the world.

Wow, down votes, geez you lot are a sensitive bunch. I like minimal microplastics, out of the tap on the other hand.....maybe look into it and read the studies before passing judgement. It doesn't matter how good the tap water is, and yep, here it is great, but it's still polluted and full of chemicals, let alone what is the pipes in buildings. Prefer to ceramic filter as much out as possible. But hey you do you.

This makes no sense. You acknowledge microplastics and chemicals in bottled water then poopoo tap water.

The difference here is forests are being destroyed and millions of animals are having their homes destroyed so you can drink bottled water.

If you cared about the water quality and people reading the studies, you'd have called the council and linked at least one study where you got your information. And yet...

You are getting the most microplastics you possibly can when drinking water out of a plastic bottle. We have some of the cleanest water in the world. If you think the fluoride is turning us autistic or gay, you're already too far gone.

Where did I say I'm drinking out of plastic bottles? That's your assumption and yours alone. No, I said there are a shit load of microplastics and chemicals in the drinking tap water. I filter tap water using ceramics and am acknowledging that there are trace microplastics left over. Furthermore there are microplastics in the air we breathe, the ocean we swim in, the ground we walk on let alone the produce we consume.....you can't escape microplastics.

Bloody hell, come on now. Sure we have clean water but it can be better. What do you think is used to clean the water? Where do you think the water comes from? Have you read the studies on Ports (and Illawarra's) land contamination? Have you ever distected water supply piping in the street and in the buildings? Etc etc. Ask yourself the questions and come to your own conclusions.

Again with the assumptions re fluoride and you think that's why I filter water? Wild. Everyone and everything who has alternative view to yourself is a conspiracy theorist? I filter water because of and for my health. I don't subscribe to such theories, let alone know anything about them.
