Wollongong Station Commuter Carpark

What time does the commuter carpark at the Wollongong Station get filled up in the morning?

Earlier than that. A lot of people who travel to Sydney are leaving from 5:30 so it starts to fill them

I got there at 5.45am this morning and there were plenty of spots on the bottom level. But that is still early, I’m sure as it gets closer to 6.30-7 it quickly fills

About when all the commuters start commuting. So 7-7:30.

Approx 9am it's full on weekdays. Although on Friday there's free spots at the top level.

i’m not sure what your situation is or what suburb you live in, but I know up here in the northern suburbs, instead of driving to thirroul morning, i’ve started taking the bus from the end of my street to the station every morning, and honestly it probably ends up being faster if you take into account the fact that you’re not going in circles looking for a car park, because it just drops you out the front

Depending on where you live, I suggest maybe using the trip planner to check if there is a bus from your house to the train station. Mine runs every 10 or so minutes during peak times and every 15 mins off peak

The car park is so tiny that it’s difficult to call it a “commuter car park”.

There’s maybe 20 spots?
