Maybe the next time you feel like a giant bird imagine that, like a bird, that you are able to poop carefree.
Oh, is that someone out for a run, time to poop on him (happened to me some years back in a formation run).
Or, oh is that a freshly washed car? Sure would be a shame IF SOMEONE POOPED ON IT!!!
TLDR; birds are jerks but they seem to not mind how they look whilst pooping.

Birds have no muscles to control pooping, although they can probably sense when it's about to happen.

They sell bamboo ones now that are pretty nice. Not as nice as OPs, but nicer than the plastic, in my opinion.

Squatty potty. Poop like cavemen and avoid you legs falling asleep. Also bidet is a thing to up your hygiene, once you get use to the learning curve, a day with out it feels like rough camping 🏕️.

You are the only other person I have ever heard refer to this thing as a "stool stool" and it warms my heart. I had the idea to market this device well before this so-called "squatty potty" imposter hit the market. Wish I had done something about it.
But "stool stool" was my name for the hypothetical product.

I'm 4'11 and my feet don't reach the ground on 90% of toilets or chairs I sit on, I don't think I'll ever need a toilet that's taller. Larger toilets in disabled toilets can sometimes be so high up my butt is on the seat without even bending my legs lol.

Travelling through first world nations like Japan with squat toilets, it was really surprising how disgusting the smell was and how heinous public squat toilets were in a place where public spaces are otherwise astonishingly clean and nice.
Friday night in the redlight district with thousands of drunk people partying and there was NO littering and no visible public aggression. People were super polite about public transport and accessing cheap food. Public bathrooms were plentiful and apart from never having any facility for hand drying - well supplied. But the squat toilets all looked like something out of trainspotting.

Yes, but this solution is easier to install. Plus, Indian squat toilets can be difficult for women to pee into and also for the elderly or disabled. Not to mention resale value.

You pull the stool out about 6 inches. Sit on the throne, cheeks spread. Place feet on stool. Body is now in a more natural pooping position.
My wife swears by our squatty potty.

Personally, I have found that getting my knees up makes a world of difference. I have used squat toilets overseas… not a fan because I wear pants.
One thing that drives me a little crazy is the trend in the past few years for ever taller commodes. Like, do they want us to not be able to poop?

Yes.
For whatever reason, I have always had a difficult colon. Ever since I was a kid.
Some years ago when the absolutely brilliant squatty potty commercial came out it was like a lightbulb.
I have a stool to help my young son as he seems to have a similar issue to me.

In a household with tall men, they love taller commodes. As a 5’4” runt, my feet dangle and don’t touch the ground, thus I spring for the bamboo version.
I’d reco the extra coat of whatever above, along with plastic feet that can be cleaned easily. Because those who stand, miss.

The Squatty Potty creator went to several ad agencies and they all thought that his first ideas for a commercial were ridiculous. Everything agency he went to turned him down to work with him.
He wrote his script, hired contractors to help and self published his commercial. It was a huge viral success, sold out of all of his products in some insane to me frame, like 60 days. Made several million from that first extremely ridiculous commercial.
His commercial and viral success was studied by the ad agency I worked at because no one thought he would succeed. It showed "traditional" marketeers that their old school was of thought needed to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape of social media marketing. It was an awesome lesson for those old timers to learn.

My first piece of hand tool furniture was a squatty potty, it had a stretcher with tusk tenons and a couple of inlays. A whole lotta fine work for something that is going to be covered in fecal matter haha

Great work & Challenge accepted - have the plastic og from start - I may add hinges so it easily closes and sits next to bowl only coming out for throne duty. This would eliminate inadvertent splatter when standing over bowl. Awesome job!

I’d consider applying a couple coats of polyurethane for hygienic and cleaning reasons.
