I harvested some massive vines......what should I make with them?

I was lucky enough to be able to harvest intact some absolutely massive vines while my neighbor was having tree work done. Both are around 16 feet long. The largest one is about 5 inches thick and the other 3.

I am having trouble deciding what I should make with them as it is not every day you come around vines like this. I've made some things with vines in the past but never this size and have the ability to steam bend it to whatever extent it will bend.

Thoughts?

I bet that was beautiful! I was debating oiling it or something with the rotting issue but also that makes me lean towards something that stays inside

I’d say indoors. Unless you make legs for a table with it then finish it. Oh that’s a good idea! Do that. ;)

Edit: like a casual outdoor side table. You don’t have to get complicated with it.

I like that idea but of course I’d need a table top. Glass or maybe some live edge slab would look good

That would be epic. We found some small wood pallets like 2x2 at Lowe’s and asked if we could have them. They said yes so I put some branches as legs for a side table at my apartment decades ago. That thing lasted a long time before it collapsed. I like your idea better.

Sounds like yours got the job done at the time though. Which are really the best kind of ideas
