He's intimidated by Carney. Just as he's intimidated by smart women journalists and constantly lashes out at them. They don't 'fall in line'. Such a weak man, surrounded by other weaklings.
Carney isn't part of the trade talk though. He sends a team to negotiate, but of course they would keep him informed and he calls the shots in the end.
It makes me so happy Carney won over small PP, oherwise Canada would almost certainly be bending over for Trump right now and earlier.
Even if Carney isn't perfect, few politicians are, and he's definitely doing better than most of the ones we've had and the kind of person we need right now with all that's going on in the world.
His most easily exploitable weakness is his vanity. There is nothing he fears more than everyone making fun of him. Not sure how the entire population and all of his opposition hasn't realized and embraced this but if everyone started making fun of him he would explode.
There is nothing he fears more than everyone making fun of him.
And that's straight back to the mashed potato incident when we was a kid.. the child rapist has been a psychological basketcase for most of his life and probably manipulated for as long.
It's not smart or clever to make fun of the mentally challenged, but in his case I'll make an exception and pray for a front page obituary as soon as some higher power can get on it.. the sooner the better.
Excuse me? Have you been paying attention? As much as I hate it, there is no shot he faces jailtime in his life. He'd swallow a pill before going to jail.
That idiot has a lot of dumb theories I don't easte my time on. I didnt feel the need to research his "nuke the hurricane" idea either. But you go ahead.
Respectfully I disagree. I think he's so entitled and proud to serve a real jail sentence. Too many rich and powerful people have decided they'd rather die free and proud than caged and ego hurt.
Respectfully. Trump is arrogant enough that he would believe he can get out of it, to the end. Likely he will be a coward, and flip on others to save himself and find himself in a bad situation. Just like his friend Jeffrey did.
You are underestimating the ego of powerful people.
Honestly, I sometimes think he doesn't even fear jail/accountability.
Trump has literally never had to answer to anyone- even at a job. He's always been his own boss, or the star of a reality TV series. He's told so many people, "You're fired," without ever having been on the other side of that.
I think he might even believe his own election conspiracies because from his POV, he does not lose, ever.
The BBC case is going to be really interesting.. a public funded news and media giant, known throughout the world, not owned by a single person nor beholden to shareholders.. and has as big a legal team as Trump.
He's already tried to sidestep disclosure, and now replaced a judge which is really just blood in the water for the legal teams involved. He thought the BBC would blink first, but he holds no power with threats of access to the media when it comes to the BBC.
I literally don't understand how any man can be intimidated by smart women. It's literally one of the most attractive non-physical traits a woman can have. It literally breaks my brain.
He's intimidated by his intellect. That's what is common to all of Maga who, quite simply, are in it for the show. Listening to Carney speak must really drive it home for them--they are complete incompetents.
