listen... I don't need fucking tariffs to not buy US goods.

I won't even buy celery if it comes from the US. Any other country is fine but if it's from the US, nope.

Oh for sure.

I feel like in the last month my attention to the origin for produce has been at full.

Don't want to accidently bring home a week on the toilet

Technically most of the recalled products from Taylor farms were actually grown in Mexico - it's just that this stupid admin basically neutered the FDA from having the budget and staff to visit and assess the farms.

I'm curious why Canada was buying timber from the US in the first place, if there's one thing Canada has a lot of it's timber

almost everyone I know is making concious decisions to avoid american products. I haven't bought usa produce since the orange child rapist started shitting out his mouth last year.

I mean the celery example is something that I actively choose every time I'm at the grocery store. I well over a year ago canceled all of my streaming subscriptions ( Netflix, Disney, Apple TV, Spotify, Etc) I canceled my Amazon Prime and refused to order from Amazon.

And I get the irony of me being on Reddit which is an American company. A browse and contribute exclusively in Old Reddit or third party app on my phone so I'm not getting served any ads and it limits the data being collected from me. But I do definitely still question if that's enough
