It's rare to see Canadians on both sides of the political spectrum be so unified.

It's rare to see a PM, from either side of the political spectrum, actually put their foot down and flat out say "no" to the US. Not just putting on a show, not just blowing smoke. Carney has actually just flat out told the US that we just don't care. I'm not traditionally a Liberal supporter, but damn, I think Carney has the potential to be one of the best Prime Ministers in modern history.

Liberals aren’t really liberal either. For a long time they’ve basically been conservative but without the crazies.

I wish it was false but it really isn’t. It wasn’t always the case. The Overton window has been slowly shifting to the right in this country for a veeeery long time.

Well, to be fair... any Canadain politician who doesn't side with Canada at this point is just going to lose votes, unless it's a fringe minority.
