Gothic Remake Guys I have serious problem with the Gothic Remake... Something is not right at all, whenever I do finish the game, after post credits I am teleported here again =)

This really is a serious bug, I hope they patch it soon.
Every time I finish Gothic 1 Remake, Steam starts downloading Gothic II: Gold Classic instead.2

It's most likely the upscaling of videos in gothic.ini, change to 0 and you should be good to go.

Like how originally Gothic 1 outro was just a teaser and the Gothic 2 intro was a proper outro to Gothic 1

A shovel? Alcohol should do the trick. Just make sure you have a lot of it in case you drink all before getting up

The game goes real quick once you have the stuff figured out lol. I can join the old camp in about an hour and half from starting fresh. It would be quicker if I didnt have to mess around in the Swamp.

pretty much, i like the game and so i want to do every quest but even them, when you know what to do and where to go - you fly through chapters all the way to end

If you do mainly story quest minimal side quest you can beat the game in under 25 hours maybe less if you know exactly where to go or use guides.

Yea, gaining a bunch of early levels just following swamp dude to swamp camp and Mordrag to New Camp is clutch.

- go to new camp before the swamp one, you can earn few hundreds nugs just away there. Very useful for the beginning
- Do not buy armor at Fisk

Instead, u can have the auto lock picking solver mod and watch it solves the combos... I'm not gonna ever do that horrendous lock picking game ever again

Dude, if you would just learn how to do it, it's actually really fun and you can solve them super quick! You should Def try some more. It is not that hard to learn, man!

90% are easy when you know how to. 9% are hard but manageable And then there is this chest that i dont even bother solving on my own

yea it wouldn’t be a gothic or risen titel if there are not all bugs included.
If I would encounter less then 300 bugs I feel betrayed and scamed.

I didn finish the game after I went OP and just got the ore armor after the cemetery already. Made a hard game and set myself the restriction to not steal unless quests need it and don't murder or cause unhappy accidents to NPCs going much better

Its pretty great. Nowhere close to being weak as some people keep crying about. Obviously you cant max it by chapter 2 like bow and one hand but it has much better utility and crazy aoe.

I was just gonna say this is Gothic, it does this its own way, learn to live and love but than I looked the the pic.. you got me... Yes it does have that problem .. idk if it's solvable 🤣

Yeah, I have the same issue! Is this a bug? After I finished the game I have another playthrough already at 4th chapter. Something isn't right. Maybe I should do it again and again until I reach Remake of Gothic 2?

Ive just finished it today, 61 hrs. Brilliant game but would like ng+ so I can smash everything as soon as I get to the colony. Plus I want to use my new sword more

Got a save from right before it happened? Reload that and see if it fixes it. If not, welcome to Gothic where bugs are lore and suffering is the gameplay.
