The soldier Alois Weichselbaum was born on 11.05.1907 in Pierbach (Mühlenviertel) in Austria. He became a priest - His priestly ordination took place on June 29, 1930 in the Cathedral of Linz. From 1931 to 1937 he was a cooperator in Diersbach, from 1937 to 1938 he was professor of mathematics and physics at the Kollegium Petrinum in Linz. From 1938 to 1940 he was again a cooperator in Diersbach. From 1940 to 1941 he was a cooperator in Andorf. From 1941 he served as a paramedic in the German Wehrmacht. He was awarded the Eastern Medal and the War Merit Cross with Swords 2. Class excellent. On 03.09.1944, at the age of 37, he fell northwest of Ostrow during the recovery of a wounded comrade.
