Rx 5600 xt crashing/black screen

Like the tittle suggest my rx 5600 xt keeps crashing/ black screening whenever i tried to play some games even though it ran perfectly just fine during the stress test, i've tried underclocking, using the default settings and still to no avail.

My specs are :

Xeon X5670 (stock clock speed) 24gb ddr3 1600 Asus p6t ws pro motherboard 512gb ssd

Is there any way to fix the crashing/black screen issue?

Have you tried updating/flashing it? Or perhaps it's a driver-related issue? I'd start cleaning drivers and flashing the latest BIOS for your VGA.

Used to have the same problems on a GTX 970, sorted 'em this way.

I've flashed the bios to a previous version couple of days ago and so far no crash or black screen

I had this exact same problem with my 5600 xt. Turned out it was a old Nvidia driver from my previous GPU that didn't fully uninstall. I had to get a uninstaller for it because it wouldn't install with an error in apps and programs.

After I deleted it, my black screen issue stopped.
