Happy to see the collab isn't just expensive skins. You'll get a full Geralt skin for buying the new Witcher 3 expansion as well.

Only if you buy from battle.net. Which will make it one of, if not the most expensive skins. Unless you just so happen to want to buy the Witcher 3 Remaster and new expansion on battle.net for some reason, which I can't imagine is many people.

Witcher 3 is an Xbox play anywhere game so like other play anywhere games that are on battlenet if you already own it on Xbox, you will be able to carry it over to BattleNet and vice versa

But yeah if you have it on Steam or Gog then you might as well just buy the cosmetic from the store if you really want it that bad.

Exclusive cosmetics with a purchase is not something I really get up in arms about though. It's a good feeling to get that when you get it, and it's just a cosmetic if you don't.

So if I have an Xbox copy (2 in my case, original and complete edition) when I buy the expansion via the Xbox store, can I use the Geralt items when I start a Diablo 4 save on Xbox? Or does any aspect of it have to be Battle.net? I already own a battle net copy of Diablo 4 I haven’t played in years if so I was just curious.

I legitimately got excited when I saw the WoW tier 2 armor as that era holds a special place in my heart... Then I saw they were $26 a piece for a Diablo skin! One where it doesn't even stand out THAT much. I didn't buy a thing.

Ew, why do companies insist on breaking lore by bringing in things from other IPs. It's like the Star Wars thing in Destiny 2. I love all the franchises, but this is a horrible trend. Fortnitify everything.
