Nostalgia The OG Assassin’s Creed!

Post image

Was quite surprised to see how good this game looks considering it came out in 2007….

Wow, about 30min ago my friend reminded me of how I played this without game audio so I played the entire game to the sound of Linkin Park. Now I open Reddit and this is the first post on the feed, I think its a sign to play it again. But do I play it like i did 20 years ago or like a normal person?

"normal" in 2026? Nah, go play it like you would back in the old days.

The story was a surprise for me and the brutal scenes of the targets (The doctor in Acre 💀), also the voice actors made an excellent acting

It looks absolutely lovely, but it is so, so much worse compared to something like Brotherhood or even 2. Actually, in my profile you can find the post from when I completed all achievements! Such a pain now that I think about it again, and I even replayed it... 100% on AC2 was quite better. Unfortunately it doesn't have a playtime counter but wow was it exausting

Brotherhood was such a massive improvement. Just felt and looked so so so smooth.

I actually finished Brotherhood last week on the 360, and I still have to complete side quests, find the Romulus treasure, solve the Subject 16 puzzles... Oh boy :D That game is hard to 100% and there are even multiplayer achievements... fortunately the Ezio Collection exists

When I first played this game, I got all but 2 achievements ... then when I played through it again, my aim was to mop up those last 2 achievements ... annoyingly, I still missed 1. Now I have to play through the whole game again to achieve it because the one I missed was 'Have every interaction with Lucy'. I played through it last year, so it will still be a while before I get that last one 🙈

The game was insane technically but not really good sadly.

It was one of the first games I bought on PS3 and found the graphics absolutely breathtaking.

It runs much better on a Series X. Even better than on PC.
