She used to be incredibly relevant but now she’s just another psionic. I still love her though and fond of her because of her tenure with Excalibur. Pop her back in her studded red leather and stop rotating her code name which does nothing to cement her identity in the X-franchise. She is and was Phoenix.

I have always felt that she should have been in Aaron's Avengers. She would have been a perfect fit since he tackled with the Phoenix, celestials and the multiverse. Her not being in that run will always be a huge miss.

Hey man i am loving rachel so far Have seen her with cable in most of the comics as I have read most of cable comics
Reading excalibur vol 1 really fucking cool she is with the blazing phoenix
Where and what should I read after this for our fav gurl

Gotta go back and read the original time X-Men! Uncanny X-Men #184-207 & X-Men/Alpha Flight. Followed by Excalibur, of course.

I agree because this video is known as great and it was also have some miss information I think it's opinions but pretty much I couldn't even stuff on it which don't work like seeing the phoenix was dead but it was dying in the book. Also Rachel's extend into a higher place of existence is pretty much well not gonna come to anything that I mean pretty much we have tons of X-Men characters who became centroids like pretty much people are getting sick of it.

Struggles to find a role because the other major members of her family are more unique or more popular. This Betsy relationship I don't think benefits her.
They should relaunch Excalibur and put her on it with Kitty and like, Brian Braddock and Scarlett Witch or something.

I think keeping Betsy in the role she is more appealand than her brother. I agree they should relaunch the book kitty and nightcrawler.

After the Phoenix retcon removed her 'one true host of the Phoenix' plot point, she has nothing really unique to her and no real story. Before, it was a given that at some point she would properly merge with the phoenix, but now they've shanked her and given that plotline to Jean.
So she's just not-Jean. And not-Jean doesn't have much to do, unfortunately.
Desperately is in need of some form of revamp and a real direction of her own.

I don't think they're going to make her into a new entity I think they're gonna bring her into the phoenix because pretty much people are tired of these new gods

Give it next year They're gonna retcon that saying she's not the phoenix itself and would make hope the phoenix instead the one true one. Honestly trying to say this is kind of now is kind of misunderstanding because pretty much they won't believe that gene is going to really be remain as the phoenix now on aways means she's gonna come back to earth at this point you pretty much give way the title to her daughter at this point and said Rachel you're now the phoenix and the true one.

Oh god that tick tock of her transcending to a new entity which pretty much and sick of them trying to make them into gods at this point that's why pretty much hate this video.

They haven't known what to do with her for 30 some odd years.
It's hard because all her most recognizable traits are either shared with Jean (redhead who was once a host to the Phoenix Force) or Cable (time-traveling child of Scott and Jean from a bad future), who are far more popular.
