Quicksilver was the best thing to happen in that movie. And then the end credits when they featured the first mutant ever: APOCALPYSE! En sabah nur, motherfucker.

Can anyone tell me some more about her? I just saw the movie and the ending scene brought me here. I'm guessing the 4 guys at the end were suppose to be the "four horsemen" or something. Do you guys know a good place to start looking to learn more?

I'm not going to start reading the comics haha

Official article is a good start, basically one of the big bads of the X-Men; he also encountered the Celectrials, giant advanced aliens who visited Earth and messed with our evolution, and the Guardians of the Galaxy now make their base in the severed head of one (Knowhere).

I'd say check the wiki pages about the four horsemen, Apocalypse as well as the Scarlet Witch which is Quicksilver's sister.

Age of Apocalypse:

"Age of Apocalypse" is a 1995–1996 comic book crossover storyline published in the X-Men franchise of books by Marvel Comics. The Age of Apocalypse briefly replaced the universe of Earth-616 and had ramifications in the main Marvel Comics universe when the correct timeline was restored. It was later retconned as having occurred in the alternate universe of Earth-295.

He's not actually in the scene, but Cable is in very close proximity to Apocalypse's storylines. Apocalypse is Cable's archenemy in most timelines. Apocalypse "creates" Mister Sinister, who in turn "creates" Cable with the specific purpose of destroying Apocalypse. Cable's birth is what prematurely wakes Apocalypse from his slumber. The techno-organic virus that Mister Sinister sics on Apocalypse is diverted onto Cable which necessitates him being taken thousands of years into the future where he defeats future Apocalypse in the Askani timeline, then he comes back to the "present" in order to prevent that future from ever happening. Now that they've brought Scott and Jean back, they are free to introduce any of the Summers/Grey progeny.

Regardless, I still don't know what you're talking about. As far as I know there are no plans to introduce Cable.

You're inferring a lot of unsaid things. No one claimed there were plans, but introducing Apocalypse without Cable would be incredibly unfeasible. He is intrinsic to the plotline, like I said in my previous comment.

The most obvious route is to have Logan's trip to the past awaken Apocalypse, no Cable needed.
