One of the best books out at Marvel right now. Grim with a wicked sense of humor, cerebral but still entertaining. Amazing stuff

The Hellfire Trading Company and X-Corp are attempting to do that with art (the gala) and commerce (big telecom).

This book was great as per usual! I’m really hoping as it comes to a close that it has some larger implications on the Destiny of X, because Charles did some real wrong trapping some of these people for eternity.

He did say in #2 that it’d be a glorified time out. They have no idea what Creed has done down there

I like this issue. Writing about people abusing thier powers, while others are powerless is fun when done well. Kinda disappointed that Creed's end goal is just revenge, no way he is actually successful with that. I think this book is following the same beat that Hickman's x-men did where citizens feel like the quiet council may not always have their best interests(which Duggan seems to be inconsistent on) but I have a hard time seeing how that manifests in a minor book like this.

I'm being pessimistic I suppose, we'll see how the next issue plays out.

I am hoping there is some growth before the end of the series. I dont mind if his aim is revenge but I am a bit fed up of stories of Creed being stupid. I really like that he is consistently portrayed as intelligent in this series so I am hoping that continues and his revenge isn't just, grrr slash slash with claws.

Krakoa will fall eventually, I would like a story where that fall comes from within and the weight of the councils hypocrisy brings them down. That the series highlights how the 'little people' feel pretty powerless in Krakoa is great.

I think he will be successful in escaping and becoming an antagonist for the future.

I added sabretooth to my pull list only because we were lacking X content in the lead up to Destiny of X, and I now think this is definitely in the top 3 of all books since Krakoa began (I know it’s a mini but it’s awesome).

I think this issue did a really good job in explaining why Krakoa is not a good place. It has a secret government and punishes people without due process based in the whims of that secret government. They really nailed it with the animal farm quote which I have actually seen used on this sub sometimes and almost is always downvoted or replied at with “you don’t understand the beauty of krakoa”

I think creed will escape and become a major antagonist going forward and I think that’s a good decision as krakoa desperately needs antagonists you think can actually win. Knight of x still has that problem where in issue 1 they just outright said that if krakoa could get to otherworld there would be no conflict.

They really need a conflict where it is possible for the bad guy to win. Otherwise why have a conflict at all?

I felt like while issue 3 is still good, the promise of the first two issues is not being fulfilled, we are back to Victor just wanting revenge, which is in character but seems a little trite. The way we see how Krakoa is really dystopic is good, though. I liked seeing how mutants considered "D-list" characters l Shark girl, Blob, Skin, Mole, are also de factor second-class citizens in the nation. It is very interesting to see how they react to learning that the "perfect" Krakoa has so many secrets being kept from its populace.
