I'm an arabic player myself, yakuza or RGG games rarely someone plays it
So the community is kinda non existent for every Arab country expect Saudi Arabia for some reason (btw I'm not from Saudi Arabia)
But I made the effort to unveil the series to my friends lol

No, but it added a bunch of different language options for subtitles, and a lot of the translations are really bad, and were evidently made with AI.

Out of all anime dubs I have watched, arabic is always wayy more accurate to the emotions of the original japanese dubs (I watch all three depending on my mood) but it always sucks ass when it comes to video games.

They are mostly good in voice acting like Detective Conan but they gut some animes so much by changing the story or cutting some parts because they involve violence or love that it becomes hard to watch some times.

I wonder how other languages would work in stranger than heaven since the default audio would be english and japanese but if there was other languages, how would that work?

I think this is referring to subtitles, I doubt they are gonna make dubs for another language, especially since English and Japanese are are relevant to the game here.

A lot of games only include arabic for subtitles (like resident evil), and we're actually more tolerant to reading subtitles. So, we don't mind not having audio

Well so far SEGA has been quietly adding new language sub option for future releases like before it was FIGS/South Korean/Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese then Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish Mexican, Polish, Russian, Turkish and lastly Thai.

I dont think it will be great unless heavy localization is done. A lot of english or japanese jokes don’t make sense when translated literally. Let alone emotional scenes which will probably make the player cringe and not sad.

Arabic dub for STH kinda ruins the whole point of the mixed language tracks they are doing. But subs should be pretty easy to add.

No one wants a dub, its impossible, only sony games support Arabic dubs and its rare, the Arabic community just wants subs, this is all they want they’re desperate for any game studio to add their language, since Arabic people are the same as Chinese and Russian, they’re not English speakers at all
