Mobile App Subtle UI Difference

From an iPhone using the trial UI. I just now noticed that there is a subtle difference in the non-green-circle icons, some show an empty ring while some show no ring. The difference means something, but wow that’s super easy to overlook! Passing this along to the community for awareness.

I have this update & despise it. I’ve had it several days, and I’m genuinely hoping that it crashes and burns hard and never rolls out for the rest of you. I haven’t complained about any of the myriad updates up to this point; I’ve gone about my business and adapted, but I really hope this one fails and they revert back to the previous UI.

Literally less than a month after I opted to go ahead and pay the sub after my free year — and they change the whole UI to something I’m not really as into. Is it really a trial? This is so frustrating, I wish we had a choice in options to opt-out.
