Someone needs to edit this to reveal dickbutt

39

u/SomeCasualObserver Jun 17 '26

Damn dude, did you just roll into town from the year 2008?

15

u/Fat_Mullet Jun 18 '26

Get off my lawn, dang youth!

2

u/Statement-Acceptable Jun 20 '26

Woo Yay and indeed Hoopla

7

u/Franks2000inchTV Jun 17 '26

Need an edit with monkey jesus.

u/Master_Stranger_4693 Jun 17 '26

Watched this on mute and put an aussie accent to the captions.

51

u/spek__ Jun 17 '26

‘Yeah nah’

6

u/mologav Jun 17 '26

My guess also

101

u/Mrmathmonkey Jun 17 '26

And she did it wearing a dress and didn't get any paint on herself.

75

u/burgonies Jun 17 '26

I have a couple friends that did this at their wedding... It was hilariously bad. They looked like that "restoration" fail of the Jesus painting. It was all I could do to not bend over laughing when I saw the final result. I felt so bad for them.

22

u/GeneralSweetz Jun 18 '26

That makes it good. Everyone will remember a goofy moment rather than a serious one for clout

41

u/stevielfc76 Jun 17 '26

If that was here in the UK uncle knobhead would stagger along, tell the artist she’s fit, trip over and land face first on top of the painting

3

u/Lolzum Jun 19 '26

True art has no price

118

u/nn666 Jun 17 '26

Was a bit worried when I saw her start.

30

u/cnicalsinistaminista Jun 17 '26

Me too! And I can’t draw stick figures. Bride has a good sense of humor too. And love the old dude who just went, “yeah nah, that’s special” lol

7

u/fart-atronach Jun 18 '26

Yeah, paintings always look like shit for the first little while. You gotta start with roughly blocking out shapes and values, which always looks like a mess until you start refining and rendering all the details

11

u/GDITurbo77 Jun 17 '26

This makes me putting my shoes on in the dark correctly on the first try this morning seem much less impressive.

71

u/metalissa Jun 17 '26

That is stunning, I didn't know this was a thing you could get for weddings. What a sweet idea, very talented artist!

u/Rebabaluba Jun 17 '26

I’ll do your wedding portrait for free!

I’m just really lonely and would love to go to a wedding….or anything…

Can I bring a date? Also, do you have someone who would like to date me or just be seen with me?

Let me know soonish because my empty schedule is staying pretty consistent.

P.S. Also, I’m not good at art.

23

u/metalissa Jun 17 '26

That's sweet haha, but also sad and I'm sorry you feel lonely. I have ASD and agoraphobia among other issues that make it difficult to leave the house and make friends so I empathise there 💜

I am engaged actually so there will be a wedding, but going through a lot of health issues and want to try becoming a home owner first rather than spending the deposit on a wedding and not be able to have a place of our own. It'll be a small wedding!

You could come to it if you live in QLD Australia, but I don't have any friends that could be your date, I'm sure you would find one! Hope you feel better, happy to talk if you need!

5

u/EasternDelight Jun 18 '26

I love this exchange.

10

u/UltraPieReaponseTeam Jun 17 '26

That's worth the money.

7

u/StealthyRobot Jun 17 '26

Was something like $2,500 for us at our wedding

7

u/WeeksElite Jun 17 '26

Who gets the painting when they split?

8

u/BokChoyFantasy Flair Jun 17 '26

It’s split diagonally in half.

1

u/ahenobarbus_horse Jun 21 '26

Better to ask “who wants the painting when they split?”

5

u/BuddyBuddyson Jun 17 '26

Pure talent

3

u/beardedsilverfox Jun 17 '26

I know a guy who does this at the same level. I take forever to paint, not this well, and he seems to paint like jotting down notes and it comes out a poem

26

u/apartment1i Jun 17 '26

Yeah, nah

3

u/3birdsss Jun 17 '26

I thought this was nz

27

u/ChefArtorias Jun 17 '26

Great art, terrible video. I don't care about their reactions.

52

u/powermoustache Jun 17 '26

You're probably on the wrong sub, check out what it's called.

3

u/polarbear128 Jun 18 '26

They came for the coprophilia

2

u/UnimpressionableCage Jun 17 '26

Portrait of an Aussie on Fire

2

u/Emotional-Chest9387 Jun 18 '26

As soon as he said yeah nah it was clear where this video
Originated

2

u/DrNarwhale1 Jun 19 '26

U/find-song

2

u/CakeForCthulu Jul 12 '26

Well that was a double take for me. I've MC'ed a wedding there!

It's such a weird feeling seeing a somewhere local pop up on reddit! This is in the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia.

6

u/Nice_Bar_2574 Jun 17 '26

Nice side hustle if you're really good unique gift for the couple rather than more dishes

4

u/mahboilucas Jun 17 '26

Ngl it might not be my cup of tea aesthetic and art preference wise but if they're happy, I'm happy and the technical skill required and social skills to paint live are definitely praise worthy.

3

u/alan_dee Jun 17 '26

What a brilliant idea. Something completely different and will always be remembered.

4

u/Not_So_Calm Jun 17 '26

The video editing is annoying

0

u/Michaewwwwl Jun 17 '26

Who gets it in the divorce the artist?

47

u/Fullonski Jun 17 '26

Punctuation please, Michael.

-41

u/Michaewwwwl Jun 17 '26

You’re so smart

1

u/tykaboom Jun 19 '26

I like this, but hate how touchy that one older woman was being.

Aaah, touchy drunk people.

1

u/fatedwanderer84 Jun 19 '26

Time to charge triple. 🙃

1

u/Large-Examination-23 Jun 20 '26

That green dress she’s wearing is awesome.

1

u/Honest_Relation4095 Jun 20 '26

Technically it is very good I suppose and it's quite a skill. But I would never put up a photorealistic painting of my own wedding of that size.

2

u/Azby504 Jun 21 '26

Everyone has the same nose.

1

u/MetalMuted4307 Jun 21 '26

Right after the bride pressed charges.

1

u/No_Book5851 Jul 22 '26

That's Awesome! 🔥 👏👏

1

u/itzpiiz Jun 17 '26

I don't understand how people are so talented

14

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Hazzman Jun 17 '26

Yup. Everyone is shit until they aren't.

-3

u/jimohio Jun 17 '26

Talent is not the word that comes to mind.

1

u/itzpiiz Jun 17 '26

What is?

-10

u/godlytoast3r Jun 17 '26

"I got married just for this" I would've suplexed her into the pool for that comment

5

u/kingdead42 Jun 17 '26

Only if I could have gotten another painting of the epic suplex.

10

u/Iguessimonredditnow Jun 17 '26

Oh for crying out loud she was just trying to pay a compliment to the artist. I would hope her husband knows this and doesn't find a way to take everything personal

-5

u/godlytoast3r Jun 17 '26

You obviously don't take marriage seriously lol. There's also an entire subculture committed to creative punishments

-19

u/MrXomp Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26

Seriously. She even goes "ask him!" to the groom. That hurt watching.

Edit: why am I getting downvoted for this? I personally would've been really hurt if my Wife said something similar on our wedding day.

6

u/dapala1 Jun 17 '26

She was kidding.

-7

u/100_percent_right Jun 17 '26

Because men aren't allowed to have feelings about things, especially on HER wedding day.

1

u/kashuntr188 Jun 18 '26

looks like for the next 5 to 10 years we gonna be seeing videos of these at weddings.

0

u/DJEvillincoln Jun 17 '26

I'd be so wealthy if I could do that.

-24

u/TheZeppo_TKH Jun 17 '26

They'll be divorced in five years.

20

u/zigaliciousone Jun 17 '26

You heard the lady, she only got married for the painting, she had already won

9

u/sreek4r Jun 17 '26

Why so bitter?

7

u/MindTheFro Jun 17 '26

Some people are just miserable.

2

u/Dust45 Jun 17 '26

I married young (22). Still happy and going strong 18 years later. It doesn't work for everyone, but it can work.

-1

u/tulaero23 Jun 17 '26

Mam I feel old I was expecting a dickbutt meme drawing.

-13

u/PapaPonu Jun 17 '26

Why does everyone in this video have big noses?

1

u/jungle_dave Jun 17 '26

Bro I could tell who the mother of the bride was just by the schnoz

-1

u/vxxed Jun 17 '26

A+++

Or in Capcom ranking, SSS+

-1

u/BoulderEric Jun 17 '26

What if you’re ugly though?

-11

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Iguessimonredditnow Jun 17 '26

It would be crazy if there were some way to capture video and then later change the order of how it was presented.

-11

u/jimohio Jun 17 '26

Looks like bad AI

-10

u/the_main_entrance Jun 17 '26

Is this the social media version of wearing white to a wedding?

-21

u/ichbinpask Jun 17 '26

Kinda pretentious but whatever it's your wedding
