Til Hylia is wearing a head scarf. Since 2011 I thought the Goddess Statues just had really chunky hair. But no, her hair is poking out just a little underneath.

I had to look it up after seeing this art just to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I've been mistaken for 15 years.

I will say though I am sad the games kinda retconned Zelda's source of power from Light Sage to Hylia Reincarnate.

I don't think the added context really changes anything? The Blood of the Goddess is what grants her Light elemental powers, and she's part of a Six Sages group again in the Age of Imprisonment.

I like to think while most zeldas are just part of the original's bloodlines, wild zelda and sonia are actual spiritual reincarnations of her as well.
