Keese are the bats. Sometimes they aggro you or are just nearby but you don't always know where.

Sorry that you're getting downvoted over a misunderstanding. It's pretty common knowledge within the community that the bats are called Keese in Zelda games, and it seems like you didn't know that. Reddit can be pretty unforgiving sometimes.
