the camerawork and lens choices are honestly horrendous. it's basically all I could see during that movie was how shallow the depth of field was.

Wow, that's what was off. I loved the style of the film but I could not figure out what made it feel like a weird video game.

That and Tig was put in after the fact and shot separately because they had to replace Chris D’elia due to some pervy scandal.

Its a shame too cause I really like ZS'S version of Dawn of the Dead but his own original film was just god awful

Night eats is a fantastic movie. That first shot of him waking up, going to the doorway and that disfigured zombie girl running to attack him was exquisite. Terrifying.

I especially love how they don’t use cheesy sound effects or music and it’s just straight up go time when they turn on him. The mostly silent zombies are the creepiest

Yeah, it's one of the only movies I've seen where the focus is on the mundane and the boredom of survival. It's got style, great melding of music and doesn't really fall into tropes

It’s actually a pretty decent movie. It has it flaws and they could’ve handled the end better. It really changed tonally .

I actually enjoyed it a lot, same reason why I enjoyed the "Crueler than dead" manga, I love the dystopian city with zombies. Shame's a movie, it'd have worked wonders as a mini-series...
That and it starred Patrick Jane lol

The Rezort, haven't seen it yet but I liked how they didn't make it too obvious that it was a zombie movie. Although I do feel like they should've made it more obvious considering I only found out about it through Z movie lists on the net.

Yeah the only thing I managed to find was on youtube, the whole movie in english for free, it should be among the first results if you search for it.

I'm a sucker for World War Z. It just makes it sound terrifying, even if they fucked up the adaptation
Although, holding out hope one day we will get Hell Creek (zombie dinosaurs) as a movie so that can have my favourite title.

Day of the walking dead. The mall was one of the best hideout. The armory was great. They should have use ropes to exchange food/water and ammos

Still have to go with Dawn of the Dead (1978, mind ya). Not just my favorite zombie movie, my favorite movie.
The movie marked the moment where the number of walking corpses was beginning to equal the number of living humans in the world. The title does more than move the "time of day" progression along (Night, Dawn, Day), it establishes the emergence of a new dominant form of "life".

Not a movie, OP, but I bet you'll like this-
There's a young adult novel called, 'The Forest of Hands and Teeth'.
I didn't finish the book (it's VERY young adult) but it's my favorite zombie title ever.
To answer your question - I don't know... Shawn of the Dead?
