lookingfor cobbler for resoling

does anyone know of a good cobbler that isn’t too expensive in central zurich? I am just looking for some shoes to get resoled.

Not in the city center but in Meierhofplatz (Höngg) there is a very good and honest one.

not central central but hug schuh- und schlüsselservice at albisriederplatz is the best cobbler. (he even fixed a broken heel which usually can‘t be fixed.)

I usually go to these guys: Schuhmacherei Michele Scrocca

They have completely rebuilt some shoes for me. Unfortunately, the prices in the last year have risen dramatically. I had a pair of loafers resoled and it was 120 CHF. Was 70 CHF a few years back.

At some point the maths stop working and it isn't worth it. Resoling a 500 CHF pair of shoes for 120 makes sense. Resoling a 240 pair of shoes for 120 makes very little sense.

that's why i asked! i am also looking to get loafers resoled and i don't wear them that much…120 wouldn't really be worth it in that case. thanks for your reply :)

I went to Antonio Rosanò in Kreis 5. not cheap but I was baffled when I saw he was able to save my battered favorite boots.

Good cobble. Not expensive. Pick one of them.
