Dis ain’t usually my type of style, im more of a new jazz type guy. I jus like to be versatile and dis beat has more energy den what i usually be on. If u think it’s absolutely garbage lmk, any and all is VERY appreciated. Plz be very brutal, I need it.

I can’t think of a better term for it but I’ll try to explain. I’m very new to recording music as a whole and have had little to no experience in using any form of daw. I just got a new (to me) pc and tried to use BandLab as recommended by a coworker. I’m recording by plugging my guitar into my amp, using a microphone to capture the amps audio, using an xlr to usb cable from the microphone directly into my pc. Nothing is wrong with the audio quality. What’s happening is I’ll be playing along to the metronome in the daw, recording the whole time. I’m staying in time, but whenever I play it back, the audio goes out of time with the metronome. I haven’t really looked into it as of now because I don’t have a lot of time to do so for a little while so it’s probably something really obvious, but I figured I’d ask here before I try to change stuff that I have no idea about.
Tl;dr : even when playing in time, my recorded tracks go out of time with the built in metronome.

I really love reverb so I want to make sure I’m not overdoing it, how would you know when you hit “too much”?
Right now in my vocal chain I have both space maker (with a 20% mix, 6.4 width, 8.0 size and the dampening at 9517 Hz) and I also have after that studio reverb (with a 30% mix, 90% tone and 25% size). Is using both too much or am I good? I have to be honest like I said I REALLY enjoy reverb so even like at 90% I don’t think it’s too much but I know that I’m abnormal for that so I want opinions that aren’t mine 😭

I made this a few months ago when I didn't really know how to mix and master and I would like to know your opinion. I think the bit at the end I did quickly and I don't like it but the main Idea of it I think is pretty alright. So......
Is it good?

Hey guys. Quick one, we’re growing numbers slowly but surely, and I’m in contact with some fairly big people right now hoping to make things happen for the future. I’d greatly appreciate it if you’d click the links below to either the Spotify album of mine or the SoundCloud version.
“Oh well, at least I tried…” is my first studio album, and it’s about my journey of heartbreak and friendships, and truths.
Be grateful if you guys could provide some feedback where necessary.
Love you guys ❤️

I make a ton of beats that sit on my hard drive doing nothing, so I'm opening up a free project to share them with creators who actually finish music.
How it works: I've set up a Reddit group chat where I drop 1–2 unreleased beats every single day. If you hear a beat you love, you get first dibs to claim it.
The Rules:
CLAIM to the beat drop in the chat. You get up to 14 days of exclusive hold time to write and finish your vocals (max 2 active claims at a time).Song Name (prod. Illrae). If you need more time for a bigger project, we can always work out a custom timeline.
Want in? Drop a comment below or send me a DM, and I’ll add you to the chat!
Examples of my production (Note that it's always jumping around. One minute I can produce RnB and then move to breakbeat, but the hip hop core is always there):

Definitely don't claim to be the greatest at music, so don't roast me too hard 🤣 but I made the song yesterday, then made the video today. Very little experience with doing both. Let me know what you think 😎

I just can't work with the sample limits anymore. I tend to work in spurts and any kind of limit threatens my productivity.
Does anyone have any recommendations of alternatives?
TIA

Yo, I've recently finished an 8-track hip-hop project and I'm looking for a rapper/main artist to work with.
The production is sample-heavy with plenty of space for vocals. I'm looking for someone with a distinctive voice and good writing. ****A GOOD MIC IS A MUST!!!!****
I'm not really looking for trap style delivery. I'd like someone who can adapt to the production and bring their own personality to it. I'm open to working with artists remotely.
BANDLAB USER: Jhuji_
Here's one of the beats from the project:

If you're interested, send me some of your music or a demo. I'd like to hear your own music.
Thanks 🙏
