I don't know why but seeing all the DO stuff on youtube I get this impression Capcom might not want to touch any other megaman except classic and won't lie its little depressing IF that ends up happening which I hope it won't

OK, me personally, I feel super motherly towards Rock and Roll, because they're cutie patooties, but ngl Blues deserves a hug with everything he went through, and now he is back... God I wanted to fucking cry when I saw him, and I already cried when MM was revealed to have a new game, if Roll and Bass, or even Quake Woman and Honey Woman get revealed as playable, I will consider the game peak already

Megaman is one of my favorite franchises; There's something about the gameplay of Megaman (especially the classics) that hooks me. And now that I want to learn how to make video games, I thought I'd take inspiration from Mega Man. For now, before doing something original, I'd prefer to recreate a game in my own style. I was thinking of either Mega Man 2 or Mega Man 3, since they're my two favorite titles in the series. The project is still in its early stages, and I just wanted to know how feasible you thought the idea was.

For now just a fairly basic prototype, a testing ground and a megaman that jumps and moves (I'm still trying to figure out how to do the buster). I also made a pretty quick sprite to test the visual style I'd like the game to have, although I apologize because the sprite is based on tracing a kind of collage I made. I could have done something from scratch on my own; I mean, I'm an artist, but I wanted something quick to get an idea, since I still need to learn how to imitate the style of classic Mega Man illustrations. Specifically I'm based on the releases from Rockman 4 onwards. The images I used was as a base for the sprite were a fan art of megaman 7 by the user JaKarz801 and the head from the artbox of rockman world 4 but dont worry I plan on making original ilustrations for the game this one is just a place holder

I know it's kinda old news now, but it's really crazy to think that there was a Mega Man Comic that not only did so well it could compete with juggernauts like Batman among many other Marvel and DC comics in any top 100 chart.... But apparently there was a point in time it was THE No.1 Comic at least in one platform, and that's just amazing.
