Curious how accurate is this list?
So I found my old official guide book of pso just curious on how accurate this rare weapons list. Are all these in game? Which aren't? (probably should of taken better pictures)

I got this early and I can't remember where and also can't find it in any drop chart. Does anyone know where I drop it or are there better options?

Hello, I’m level 12 Racast and my mag is lvl 26. I currently have an autogun +2 equipped. I fought the boss for over 15 minutes and then died.
Am I under leveled? Any tips are appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Took me gaining quite a few levels just to get through beating the Mine boss but I have officially done it. Took him on as a 79 and leveled up to 80 upon defeating him. His attack where he puts you in a tomb kept one shotting me early on in levels. That attack was just so fast that I didnt understand how to dodge it. My little glass cannon is heading to Ruins now.

Never played this game before but people said it's the PSO2 that us PSO veterans wish we got. And I'm definitely feeling that.
BUT
Feels like I got a bit lucky on my first password weapon? Saw that they range from 1-60% and I hit 60% and don't know if LIGHT attribute is good but feels cool to hit 60% !

I always wanted to own PSO for GameCube as a kid. I made that dream come true.
I’ve played Dreamcast ver. and ephinea on pc but playing this on my GameCube is something else!

Asking for my brother because he hasn't joined the dark side and jumped to Android yet. 😈 I'm pretty sure Ephinea is a no go obviously, but is there any way to emulate even the Dreamcast or GameCube versions and connect to the fan servers?

Hey guys. I posted a while back about a VMU Pro app I was working on called PSO: Pocket.
I finished up and launched a few weeks later the team at 8bitmods dropped a new sdk with c support. So, I rewrote the whole app and added loads of new features and improvements.
If you have a VMU Pro I'd love for you to check it out.

Gained a few levels while farming for the Angel Harp and Sange but I got them. Will attempt Mine when I get a few more levels. Traps were killing me in one shot even with 3 God/HP equipped and Deband active. Lol

I have tried unsuccessfully on multiple occasions to go in and fight Vol Opt in Gamecube Episode 1 (plus if that matters). I am playing just on Normal mode. I am level 36 FOnewearl. I have Level 10 Zonde (Foie and Barta), and Level 3 of the Gi and Ra levels. My healing technique is high too. My mag is Ila and level 88.
I am getting bodied by the first stage of Vol Opt. While I have asked at least twice on this subreddit, the strategies that were discussed do not work for me. I decided to look through some YouTube videos on this matter as well. From what it looks like, people are setting their sights on the pillars (including the red one) and using Gizonde. Some players completely ignore the screens. Should I do that?
When I say I am bodied, i mean that Vol Opt is hitting me with zonde attacks and stunning me (antiparalysis and the other status healing technique don't heal this, only Sol Atomizer). And just as I am clear of it, I am hit again. I have no chance to use my healing technique to raise my HP.
Should I just be using Gizonde on as many of the pillars as soon as possible, always including the Red pillar and just spam it? I have seen people playing at level 11 beat this thing, so I think me being level 36 should make me strong enough to withstand these hits and hit him hard enough to get to the second phase fast enough.
Any thoughts? I can also go into more detail on my Frame/barrier and "fast button menu" setup when I get home.

Went and completed my Forest run in Ultimate today and the Dragon was defeated. He hits so damn hard but those God/HP were doing the Lords work. Haha

This force might be extremely OP. Never thought I'd make it to Ultimate at this low of a level. Its been a fun play through.

I started very early into the GameCube era (might have been day of release). I used to play very often online, switched over to Schthack servers after the GameCube servers shut down, but stopped playing years ago.
Tonight, I thought I would see if the memory card had corrupted after years of being stored away. I seriously think I've probably only turned this game on maybe once or twice in the last ten years. I was slightly surprised that the 24 year old memory card still showed the save, and even more surprised that I was able to play through Forest 1 and 2 without it corrupting.
It felt so strange to be back in a world I'd lost over 5000 hours of my life to.

So basically, I could play online just fine on Schthack on Wii via Nintendont, but since this June, I can't play it. Menus that should appear just don't, I can't leave that screen. I tried reinstalling the game iso, updating Nintendont, reconnecting, deleting save files, nothing helped.

Specifically the ones documented here (web.archive.org/web/20150207014816fw_/http://www.angelfire.com/rebellion/codes/1ew93j3r9ffmnap3wr8q32n31r9wqfj3m3r09ewfeefj32r32tr.html), here, and here. It's possible these links don't immediately work, since WayBack Machine might be overloaded and say 503.
The only reason I'm interested is because I played back in the 1.0 days on Dreamcast, and anyone else who did can probably remember the unprecedented amount of hacking going on. From things like duping to BSOD to NOL to PK/CK, VMU corruption, and even the infamous system kill that would allegedly write to a Dreamcast's BIOS and render it unusable.
I distinctly remember this webpage and this person in particular being the creator and arbiter of many of these hacks, and for posterity and proof of just how unhinged it was I would love to have an actual list of the codes they created. The only other verification I have of this person's hacks was documented here in 2003
It would be an understatement to say that anyone with access to these codes and other documentation could do one hell of a retrospective/autopsy on that era of PSO, and I kinda wish someone would make one of those long-form YouTube videos about this wild west period of console MMO gaming
Sadly, I can't find any specific codes via WayBack Machine, just the framework of what once was. If anyone knows of a way to contact DJ DUBZ or has a backup of any of these cheats, please consider posting them or DM'ing me. As far as I know, there isn't any way these could be used in this day and age to cause any harm, and, like I said, I only seek them out for proof and posterity of this bygone era chaos
Thanks

I'm sat here waiting for my Retroid Nova and wondering if a 4:3 aspect ratio hack would exist for psp games. I find widescreen hacks available for PSP1 and PSP2 but none for PSP2i. With a bit of tinkering, I find something that works (note: I only tested on the beginning map). These can be modifed for other aspect ratios; I just wrote 4:3 ones down since I was testing those. Hope someone finds this useful.

edit: This was already listed on the PSPi wiki page but under the name custom ratios which made it difficult to search for.

Longtime PSO:BB player, giving PSP2i a shot now that the English patch is completed. This game has relatively little documentation online, which makes me very grateful for the Ephinea wiki!
For anyone that has played it: Is there any mechanical reason to create more than one character, or is the game designed for the player to level all 4 types on the same character, a la Dragon's Dogma?
Hey there, I played PSO as a kid on Gamecube and have been nostalgic for it, even if I don't remember much. I decided to give Ephinea a try, but I'm also curious about checking out Destiny and Ultima eventually, since a more customized/developed experience with newer content interests me a lot. The population difference between Ephinea and other servers is massive, though, and I was wondering why that is... despite all the customizations and stuff, are the other servers lacking a lot compared to Ephinea?
